People have clarified multiple times what they meant though but you're choosing to ignore what they're actually saying in favour of going off about some other irk you have which nobody has in actual fact said. Look, nobody is saying all the people rioting over this are all of the football fans that have nowhere else to go but chances are there are a lot of the people who are involved in football related violence are also involved in this, that's not exclusively either of course there will be other groups among it too, my point is that people will find an excuse to fuel their own agendas regardless, if it's not football it's 'patriotism' if it's not that it'll be something else. Admittedly I've never gone to a football game in my life and don't have any desire to but the culture around it is what puts me off. Maybe it's not such an issue in other parts of the country but literally every time the two main Glasgow teams are playing there's increased police presence, the city centre is trashed, people are getting attacked, people are discriminated against based on the team they support even aside from all of that so no it's not a generalisation when it's something that regularly happens, it's just fact. This thread isn't even about football I was only chiming in because I can understand where hassaan is coming from with the comparison.

I mean it's not school kids out rioting in the streets or the Facebook wine mum's scrapping while they top up their tan... football fans have a reputation for being violent, it's fact that violent crime rates go up when there's certain matches on, obviously not all fans but it is a prominent part of UK football culture, when the evidence is there it's not a generalisation really. Matches aren't on at the moment so these types of individuals are likely to look for another excuse to behave like animals.

That's the thing, it could be any reason, something as simple as him not liking Taylor Swift/her fan base or it could have just been a case of him knowing there would be a lot of kids in the one place at a certain time. We might never know the real motive, not that it would make it any easier to understand if we did, there's no justification. I think it's dangerous for them to put in the media that he was autistic as that's pretty much asking for negative stigma to be attached to something that's already largely misunderstood. It could also be seen as an attempt to excuse his actions which would be wrong as well, as I say there's nothing that could make what he did even slightly comprehensible, mental health etc included.

This is truly awful, there aren't really words to describe how tragic incidents like this are. People will use anything as an excuse to fuel their hate agenda. I'm sure I read that his parents were from Rwanda and most likely devout Christians but even if he was Muslim, that doesn't give people the right to terrorise a community, one person's actions doesn't speak for the majority, it's just extreme ignorance to believe otherwise. Race or religion has nothing to do with it. This country has a massive racism problem that we've barely scratched the surface of addressing. If people want to fight back against something in light of this it should be the fact they're hiding his identity or that he'll be tried as a child. The consequences should match the crime imo, if you're going to commit murder then you should be dealt the maximum penalty regardless of age. They should be finding out if there was a reason for him doing it and addressing the problem there (if it's mental health related for example) so there's less chance of it happening again. Theres obviously a reason why he decided to target young Taylor Swift fans. In saying that, I do think they probably will release his name once he's been convicted, isn't that what they did with Brianna Ghey's murderers?

This isn't meant to be some huge banger, for what it is it's really well done. Is it my favourite project she's ever done? Not at all but given what she's been dealing with in her personal life this makes a lot of sense. The video is particularly special, the part where she removes her wig actually made me cry :')
