Chappell Roan - The Subway
Ugh she does not miss 😩 I fell i love with this song as soon as I heard her perform it live in Glasgow, I've been listening to live recordings on YouTube for the longest time so I was a bit worried the studio version wouldn't hit the same but my god it's stunning, it showcases her vocals so well - that final note 😭😭💀 Buzzing for the music video as well, the looks incredible in the preview 😍

EastEnders
Tonight's episode is a bit redeeming but I still I'm convinced they're going to lose the baby then decide to adopt

EastEnders
I think with this storyline the way they've shown Suki and her arguements towards Avani and Eve could indicate some push from the writers and their personal views only because it's so out of character to believe that's how Suki would feel now. With Lily I think it made sense for her to want to keep it, I didn't really question that one even though she was younger than Avani, she's grown up with young kids so wanting to have one of her own wasn't too out there. Avani enjoys her social life, is ambitious and doesn't want to be tied down so her not wanting a baby fits her. Tbf showing an abortion as being traumatic is also valid, no matter how sure you are you want it, it's still a lot to go through both mentally and physically.

Favourite pilot ever?
Orphan Black, don't think I've ever been so instantly hooked on a series. Agatha All Along is up there too.

EastEnders
Yea it's not really sitting right with me either and isn't something that suits Sukis present character. I feel like if anyone was going to force her to have a baby it would have been Nish, Ravi or even Joel. It is possible she might miscarry and that makes Eve realise she does want kids and then they go through the adoption etc idk it just seems weird. It feels a little like someone in that writers room has too much to say for themselves on the topic of abortion...

Reneé Rapp - BITE ME
Reneè Rapp's second studio album is set to be released on Friday 1st August 2025. Leave Me Alone Mad Why Is She Still Here? Sometimes Kiss It, Kiss It Good Girl I Can't Have You Around Me Anymore Shy At Least I'm Hot I Think I Like You Better When You're Gone That's So Funny You'd Like That Wouldn't You So far we've had singles "Leave Me Alone" , "Mad" and "Why is She Still Here?". There's also been teaser clips of "Kiss It, Kiss It" circulating online. At first that was thought to be the third single as the teaser came prior to the release of WISSH. I think her singles have been each better than the last so I'm excited to listen to the rest of the album. For me, she hasn't missed with any of her prior bodies of work, Snow Angel in particular is a masterpiece that I'm surprised didn't do more for her in terms of gaining popularity/charting etc. She's spoken about taking a more laid back approach to songwriting on this album and that it has more of a pop direction so I'm hoping this gets a really good reception for her. "Kiss It, Kiss It" sounds like a bop so I'm particularly excited to hear it in full. I managed to bag a couple of tickets for her Manchester date (although don't even know who will come with me yet 😅) but I know I'd be kicking myself if I missed the chance to see her again, she is such a star and her live vocals are just incredible, I can already tell that "Why Is She Still Here?" Is going to be such a moment, it's my fave from the 3 singles so far.

Midnight Til Morning - Bye
Oh that drama was 100% scripted, Conor said on a live or something that him and Allison never dated and he's single As far as boybands go, I don't hate them and I'm interested to see what they do outside of Netflix - Shane is my fave and it sounds like he has a good chunk of the vocals so high hopes x

Bringing Oscar back has been the best thing for Lauren, I think she's my favourite rn Cora mention 🤩

Hayley Williams - Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party
Do you know what She could have at least warned us, I'm scared to Google anymore lyrics, so much for my early night!! She can do no wrong but I just feel devastated over the subject of these songs! I'm hoping they aren't recent writes for her and are a collection of songs she's had stashed since her divorce etc

Building the Band • Season 1
I'm happy with that result, REALLY unexpected but that's who I was rooting for!! They really brought it in their last two performances, I feel like they're the most likeable as well and you can see what sort of career they'll have going forward whereas the other bands just didn't have the same edge really and I couldn't really the same future for them

EastEnders
As much as I'm glad the Slaters are back in the Vic, I'd rather we had landlady Stacey rather than it being Kat and Alfie again

Building the Band • Season 1
I've been watching this! I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would but it does feel over produced, I don't believe a lot of these bands came together naturally. I'm sad bc Elise is my favourite vocalist but the worst thing she could have done was join Alison's band and well.... She has such a strong and unique voice but she's not going to get the chance to showcase that, she's definitely front woman material. Alison has no interest in actually being in a band, it's so clear she's just using it as a stepping stone to launch a solo career thinking she's the next Beyonce. Her voice isn't even that special, she just sounds like an Ariana wannabe. I really like Brianna's voice as well but I hate Nori in that lineup, they definitely should have taken Bri on instead or made a 4 piece with her. I like Midnight Til Morning except for Connor, they'd be stronger as a trio imo. I like Soulidified but they definitely feel the most produced and I think they're gearing up for them to win. It will come down to them vs SZN4 I'm sure of it, the latter is really good but I just can't picture them as their own band doing their own music, I get cover band vibes.

EastEnders
The fact that they've outright said he's bisexual and not danced around it is already a huge step forward for them as any bisexual characters they've had previously have been represented/written horribly, it was always Sonia the part time lesbian, "oh she was gay for a little bit", I don't think they explicitly said she was bisexual in any scenes? It's also nice to have a queer character who is just known to be LGBTQ+ from the get go and it's just part of who he is, no tragic coming out story or shock reveal or anything that's using it as nothing more than a plot device, thats so tired and overdone and quite frankly insulting as we're way past the point of someone's sexuality being the most important thing about them surely

EastEnders
I haven't seen today's ep but have seen the spoiler clips and agree on the casting being spot on, they genuinely look like they could be related to their dad irl Queer stories are very lacking rn so I agree it would be good to start introducing more, especially within the younger characters - Avani reads bi to me but idk if they'd do that considering we have quite a few queer women in that family already

EastEnders
I think Janine lacks a solid "family" dynamic that she can always reliably slot back into, I guess that's what happens when everyone around her dies or hates her but she's such an interesting character, there's so much potential there with the relationships they could build with her, even if it meant bringing in other new characters. I feel like Janine and Stacey could have been great but then there was the whole Ryan thing. Stacey is a character that works with everyone though, forever my fave.

EastEnders
It's always a perfect time for a Janine return tbh, I'll say the same about Shirley

EastEnders
I feel like he always talks through clenched teeth 😂

EastEnders
It's a shame because Peter was always meant to be the loveable boy next door type and they've just wrecked his character, I don't know if they're just trying to make him a mini Ian or what?? He does nothing but whine and blame Lauren for his own issues. I don't think there's anyone I love Lauren with, she needs someone new probably
-
EastEnders
Penny is so underrated, they should have kept her with Harry tbh
