It's a festival appearance she's cancelled due to sickness, because it's mental health related it doesn't make her "unreliable" just someone who knows how to prioritise the important things. Okay she's bipolar but that's a pretty harmful stereotype to put late decisions down to that, to me she's just pushed through until she's hit her breaking point, like jonjo said - how is she meant to know how she's going to feel weeks beforehand? I don't think she'd cancel unless she really, really had to as it's clear she loves performing given how much she puts into her shows. The last 6 months or so has clearly been a lot for her, people just don't like that she's not afraid to set boundaries and do what's best for her, anyone who is reacting negatively to this really needs to do some inner reflecting to find out why they're so triggered by a girl looking after herself. The political stuff was scewed to make her look like she's sitting on the fence but anyone who knows her and actually listens to what she says knew what she was trying to say without the further explanation.

honestly the most repulsive bit for me was when :lol: I still don't have the words I'm looking for to explain this either, I went to see it with Lewis and Patrick and I think we're going to watch it again once it's on streaming platforms so we can actually pause and discuss, I kept making mental notes during the film but then the next scene would happen, I'd have more notes then by the end of it I was like ???? Okay we need to talk about this film. q4Z5v2M7Ae4 "Elisabeth Sparkle, renowned for an aerobics show, faces a devastating blow on her 50th birthday as her boss fires her. Amid her distress, a laboratory offers her a substance which promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself." This is probably the wildest film I have ever seen and I didn't expect it at all. It's not for anyone with a weak stomach as it is body horror, I didn't even realise that much as I'd only seen the trailer beforehand so I was expecting it to be a similar vibe to "Limitless" or "Lucy" but with more of a psychological aspect. It's not that :lol: For what it is, it's really well done and beautifully shot. It's clever and weird and you never know what's coming next, both Moore and Qualley were fantastic in their performances as well. I saw it earlier this evening and I'm still unpacking it now, it's a film I'm going to be thinking about for a while. Has anyone else had the chance to see it yet?

I don't think Jenna was the wrong choice at all? That role was basically made for her, it's the sort of thing she's more known for although she is a fantastic actress in general, you can really see her range in the other films etc she's done. Teenagers are almost always played by actors in their 20s :lol:

This has genuinely been my favourite contest ever I think? Maybe I'm just more invested bc I'm hosting and have listened to everyone's songs way more than I normally would having to vote in both semis etc but the standard for the final is super high! The pop girlies really have come through as far as my tastes are concerned :wub: I'm doing a rank now and I think all of my votes are going to be medal position worthy, it's going to be really hard to finalise the order :lol:
