Honestly, Zack was only ever an interesting character when he was paired with Nancy and even then she carried him, he's a character that can only exist in the presence of a strong female character which is what they thought Whitney was but honestly she wasn't at all which is probably why their relationship always felt a bit flat They've given Zack good storylines but there is just always something I don't quite buy with him and idk why, had he actually drowned I don't think he'd have been missed much

Nicola is a character we didn't know we needed, the drama and campness of all her scenes is perfect, obsessed with her sitting in her dark office in a bright red dress listening to sad pop songs at least once an episode 😭
  3. Whooops, voted now anyway x Nice to see three Taahino artists this month!
  4. Are we doing a semi 2 listen through? I'm planning on doing my listen tonight so just thought I'd check on the off chance there was a planned one! πŸ€“
  5. I think if they had more memorable staging it could have helped, like even taking the "went up on the roof, jumped into the pool" part of the lyrics they could have had them performing on top of a building or something with loads of lighting affects, transition it into a pool or something idk, the Disney princess-esque thing was a bit lost on me (I thought the were trying to be posh Powerpuff girls at first πŸ˜…) I saw some people from other countries not fully understanding the concept of the song and I can understand why. I mean, you don't need to speak Finnish ( to know what Erika's song was about x
  6. Added the worst and only name I could think of x
  7. I do really love this, especially the live performance version. I don't think staging is that important when you have a great song and great vocals and it definitely didn't lack energy. I just feel a bit deflated as we'll probably be bottom 5 regardless, between the running order and the reception the UK normally gets which is a shame for the girls representing us as they do deserve better than that imo.

I've put on tiny Β£1 bets just bc, I'll be lucky if I get Β£20 back πŸ˜‚ One for Germany and one for UK to be the highest placing of the big 5 and one for each of either Germany, Denmark or Latvia to finish top ten
  9. OH OOPS clearly I just read the PO in Portugal and just made up the rest of the word πŸ˜… Can you amend my votes please to what I said I'd put hypothetically 🫒 ty x

I do like Cindy when she's just being ridiculous and like a panto villain but she is sooooo repetitive, she needs some new material Bring back Janine and have them join forces to take over the Vic or something

The only other love interest I quite liked Stacey with was Keerat and he ended up going to prison, it really feels like they just don't want her to have someone πŸ˜… I think they'll struggle to find another character that she has the sort of chemistry she did with Martin and Bradley with, killing Martin was such a massive mistake purely on the basis it really limits what's next for Stacey (maybe a GCSE 🫒) so I can understand why Lacey would leave. I think if they can pitch a great storyline to her then that would encourage a return. If we get a Shirley or a Janine return that might soften the blow a little πŸ˜ͺ I doubt we'll see Linda Henry any time soon tho as she's doing that other thing with Danny Dyer rn

Such a shame about Lacey but it sounds like she will be back at some point it's just a question of how long it'll be, you miss her even now when she's just on maternity nevermind when she's making a full on exit :(

I think she'll just be used as a prop to fuel Kathy's storyline, I can see her finding out about her and Harvey and outing them for the drama but then there's really not much point in her being around Joel is such a wee creep, I really hate this storyline there doing with him

  22. Honestly trying to even get that list together was a riot, I asked it to redo with all 41 entries but it just went no x Blacksquares seems more likely, mine was just a massive pophoe really which isn't indicative of the majority at alllll
  23. I still haven't completed my own full listen through yet but I've been messing around with chatgpt and got it to produce a list of odds based on some previous winners etc ... It's probably way off but it'll be interesting to see just how much by πŸ˜…
