  1. Singles & Albums were released on Fridays all the way through the 40s to the early 80s. The BBC chart period was still Sun to Sat. Why should it be any different now? Don't get it.

Passing a million on w/k ending Saturday 16th Jan 82 (sales period Monday 4th Jan to Saturday 9th).
  3. 3 Year End charts for 1981 were published. In the 2nd the League are 21. In the 3rd, they are 5.
  4. I think it's more correct to than OCC's effort. Where streaming pushes back anything released between Jan & June. Big Top 40 was based on total sales from iTunes alone. No streaming at all or physical sales.

  6. Tommy Vance presented the BFBS Chart continuously between 1973 & 1987 & also did Radio One over the period 1982 - 1992.
