I echo that I'm surprised to not see Carly Rae inside the Top 40. Ouch! I hope she, at least, makes the Top 100, but I guess I need to wait for the Official Chart Update to see where she is.

The live from the Royal Albert Hall version received 1.22m unfiltered streams (-118.2k) on the Spotify Counter yesterday, while the original version received 2.55m unfiltered streams (-189.5k), so the total between the two was 3.77m unfiltered streams. The rest of the three tracks from the EP received 45.4k, so the EP had 3.82m unfiltered streams (-322k) on the Spotify Counter. Also, I was expecting the worse from "Hasta Luego", but it's not, lol! 😆

"Ona nosi Pradu" by Milica Pavlović was a nice surprise, so let's see how far she could go because there's a lot of competition. As a side note, I do think "Hello" and "White Flag" were sent too early in my opinion and I wish another song of them were picked instead. I'm not saying that these picks were bad, just that they could be used for later rounds. Oh! And the single mix of "Better In Time" is also good. It's a long time that I haven't listened to it. Either way, as I mentioned before, I still stand when I mentioned that "Influence" was an odd choice for the first round. Tove Lo has a great and a diverse discography, so sending an album track / promotional single from Lady Wood was strange. If the person behind her was trying to barely and/or making it through the round with this pick, I guess this explains everything.

I wasn't into "Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye)" and "We Like to Party! (The Vengabus)", while I didn't like "Misty Circles".

Consequences for not buying the bundle on time. Oops! 🤫 Either way, I guess this, somehow, applies to me because I missed that too, but I got the 7" vinyl (which is the one I was looking for) later that year, lol! 🫢

Actually, Dua shared a post by @/theliparoom about this milestone. Either way, I wish she held a little bit because the track technically hasn't reached this milestone yet. The current total sum is 998,320,293 unfiltered streams on Spotify, but this will reach the billion streams tomorrow. I guess my frustration or rant, depending of the context, is that fan pages (and I'm not talking about the ones from Dua because this is a general thing) and social media site news stop doing that in anticipation just to generate interaction (likes, comments, etc.) for themselves and wait until something is official. I mean, this is one of the reasons why there's a lot of misinformation and disinformation on social media and people tend to believe everything they read and/or see instead of contrasting them. That said, this isn't something against you, Addy, and I don't want you to believe that, so apologies if you think that the last part is towards you when it's not. I want to clarify that beforehand. On the bright side, she gave visibility to the track with this Instagram story, so this could work out either way, lol! 😆

I somehow need "Choosin' Texas", "Boston" and "Great Expectation" to hit ACR, so "Training Season" could make it atop. Oops! 🫢

This is clearly a PR statement and, basically, my overall thoughts about Ed haven't changed at all. It seems to me that he wanted to make this situation (the Macklemore controversy) to be less than what it is, but it fails completely, when he couldn't openly say that there's an on-going genocide in Gaza.
