Ouch for season 8, who loses another queen, and has 1 remaining queen in the rate. I love Kim. I really do, what a phenomenal talent she is. IMO she's the best make up artist and look queen the show has ever had, ahead of the likes of Raja, Yara, Acid, Violet, Trixie, Nina, etc. Like, as great as they all are, Kim is literally walking art; like I'd pay money to watch her walk around a room in her truly iconic looks. What I love about Kim as well is despite that being her obvious master area that she excels in, she's also unwittingly, adorably funny. She just has the cutest most laughably lovable moments, and I'm so thrilled to see her do well here. In her time on the show Kim was the only queen not to lip sync for her life, winning 2 challenges, and never really being in trouble of elimination. Her mother runway is one of my favs from the entire 8 seasons, it was so emotive, and moving, and it was like watching a silent movie almost. She was hilarious on the reunion as well, the break down in her lip sync :lol: and her telling the pit crew she wouldn't sleep with them in the fear of catching something :rofl: I f***ing died. About her finish position, it's hard to call now, because imo, we probably have the right top 14, maybe Alyssa should be here and it be a top 15, but, there is so little to separate them, as they are truly the best to have come from Drag Race. I'd maybe have switched her with Raja, Raven, or Chad; but I can't really complaining, because they're all amazing :wub: Donut come for her, cause she will destroy you. I'll end it there for tonight, as that leaves all the queens with averages of 9 or above. 15th Thorgy Thor: 8.93 Highest Scores: 11 (Lukuzz), 10 (Jimmy, Mackenzie, Davidson, 100, LexC), 9 (152Chris, Leonardo, Cucumberella) Lowest Scores: - First of the top 15 to drop out, and the third Season 8 queen in the top 20 to be eliminated is Thorgy Thor (Leaving just Kim and Bob from Season 8 left :teresa: ). What a kooky, lovable queen Thorgy turned out to be. I don't know why that came as such a surprise to me on the show, as rewatching her MTQs vid, it was so obvious Thorgy would be one of the most lovable queens of the season, but I had severely underestimated her; like I imagined her leaving week 3 or 4. However it became apparent very quickly Thorgy was a big contender in Season 8, despite finishing 6th, and not winning a challenge, Thorgy was this seasons potential winner queen to leave before their time for me. Consistently good at pretty much everything, and the only damn thing that got her eliminated was her own brain mess of too many ideas in the ad challenge, and missing the key element of the task, otherwise she'd have been good, and probably a cert for top 3. Though in defense of her elimination, when she did wind up in the bottom, Chi Chi, didn't even give her a chance. I see big things for Thorgy now the show's over. Personally along with winner Bob, and artist Kim, I see Thorgy staying the most relevant now it's over, I imagine WoW will use her loads, and I'm really excited for it. Do I think she'd be this high if this rate was done later, no, I personally don't think she'd finish above the liked of Alyssa, that being said, I'm not mad that she has, and thrilled she made the top 15/20. Witty catchphrase, you know what I mean?!

Naomi was a pleasant surprise on Season 8, before the season started I had her pegged to be one of the first good queens to go, and probably finish around 6th or 5th. At the beginning of the series she did little to change that prediction, coasting in the middle bunch until Snatch Game where her New York was criminally bad. After though something happened, she started taking risks, and really started to shine, emerging as a dark horse very quickly, and her impeccable sense of style, funny charm, and fierce af runway walk took her all the way to the top 3. I'm very excited to see where Naomi goes from here, I can see her at any of Marco Marco's runways, but also I could see her doing something funny for WoW, as despite that Snatch Game, she showed in the Shadey ad campaign that she is very funny. I expect she could be one of the brightest breakout stars of this season :wub:

WAKE UP!!!?!!! She woke up a long time ago, god damnit. Pearl is next in 17th place. First off let's talk about what I know all y'all are thinking. TRADE. OMG, Pearl out of drag :drama: I can't, she is so hot, it should be illegal. Like look at that James Dean face :drama: :drama: :drama: On the off chance you see this Miss Pearl...call me gurllll. Seriously though, let's talk about Pearl's achievements on the show. Pearl got off to a stuttered start on season 7, struggling to make her mark on the competition, and very lucky not to be an early exit from the show (what a travesty that would have been :drama: ) but after winding up in the bottom 2, Pearl started to hit her stride. After the most iconic moment of the entire season: Is there something on my face?! :drama: :drama: her and Max slayed the Despy Awards, and Pearl found some form. She did wind up in the bottom 2 once more, in one of the worst lip syncs DR has given us against Miz Fem, but Pearl survived again, and made it all the way to top 3. Since Drag Race Pearl has been releasing some music, that's very different from any of the stuff other queens from the show have put out, and I kind of dig it tbh; not really seen much else of her though, so I hope she pops up again, because I love me some Pearl :wub:

I must admit I was thrilled to see Stcay Layne make top 50. What a sweetheart who was unnecessarily torn down on the show :wub:

Age of Ultron much too high for me, I found a bit of a let down, i've watched it a couple of times since, but it still doesn't match the first one for me, but I am growing to like it more, and maybe a 6 was harsh :lol: Shirtless Chris Pratt :drama: Winter Soldier is great, have to agree, the Captain America set of movies really has been the most consistently good, despite actually think CA was the worst movie at one point, rewatching it now, i see how great it was, though I think Thor still beats it in my fav first ones, and I've had liked to have seen both Thor films higher. When i put Spiderman that high it was mainly for Andrew Garfield tbh :wub: :wub: :wub: :drama: Black Widow to win!!

tbf there's no guarantee that would have pushed it top 10, 11 with their streaming struggles, and a likely gold selling single for the second single to be released post album is still great. I mean obviously get the frustration, and it is annoying especially considering this is the second time it's happened this era, but look at all the promo they did for LMLY, it didn't really help it get a decent streaming position, so maybe Hair would have been the same :cry:

Maybe they'll be performing the remix, and throwing Cornettos into the crowd :lol:

18th Shangela: 8.69 Highest Scores: 10 (Joe, LexC), 9.5 (Davidson), 9 (Jimmy, Leonardo, 100, Oliver) Lowest Scores: - Halleloo, Shangela comes in at 18th. Shangela gets an impressive set of scores here, getting 2 10s, lots of 9s and lots of 8s, but perhaps more impressively avoids getting any low scores, her lowest being 1 7. We were first introduced to a very green Shangela back in Season 2, when she had only been doing drag for 5 months, which tbf showed, and she was sent home week 1. It could have all ended there, and now Shangela could have been just one of the forgotten first eliminees, that we never heard from again, but true to Shangela's zany personality, bitch got herself brought back for season 3, and lasted all the way to top 5! It's since leaving the show though that Shangela has really carved her name in Drag Race's elite, with her switched on business brain, and unbelievable work ethic, Shangela has remained one of the most relevant queens to come from the show. She's released music (but like actually decent music, Uptown Fish was an amazing parody), she's been on tv shows (Glee, 2 Broke Girls, Community etc), as well as constantly keeping her name out there in Drag circles. She's stepped it up so much style wise since her Drag Race days as well, and I think she'll only keep going upwards from here. She a pro.

I'm not surprised Season 1 is the first to lose all it's queens from the rate, not that there weren't some great queens on Season 1, but it just felt so raw back then, and I wouldn't be surprised if the fact that season 1 feels like a struggle to watch because it's so low budget taints people's views of it's queens. Nina was one of those amazing queens from season 1 though. I won't lie, I liked Bebe, but I wanted Nina to win, she was more cutting edge, and felt more high fashion to me, and when the challenges were so 'naff' in season 1, due to it's low budget, I think the runway look element was more important to me, as it was the only thing that could get me interested as a viewer. What I love most about Nina is that she did all that edgy punk stuff, but then later on in the season she showed she can also do the ultra fem, glam look as well. IMO she's one of the best, if not the best Make Up artist the show has had, and she is of course the original runner up, and miss congeniality. Oh and she also gave us one of the best team names on AS: team brown-flowers :wub:
