  1. I'm amazed this song is still getting bigger! Seems to have taken on a life of its own. It is a guaranteed one hit wonder though, and peak 2017.

  3. I'll be very surprised if this is anywhere near as big as Hurtin' Me.

After insisting that his 2017 album 'Godfather' would be his last, notoriously temperamental legend Wiley has announced he will be releasing a follow-up album. This will be called 'Godfather 2' and is expected in February next year. In the meantime, he's released the first single 'Call the Shots' with JME and it's a straight up grime banger! QnQSjLb-Oxc

Bit like Costa Rica four years ago then.

I don't think Germany or Brazil will win it actually, but I can see them being the two losing semi finalists for some reason. To be honest, I could see it being Spain v Portugal. Had a dream a few weeks ago that I was travelling to England's opener, which was against Denmark, so fingers crossed that happens.
  8. No it isn't.
  9. Spot on, this could kill all the momentum she's built up over the past year. What a waste of a Skepta feature too, nothing can redeem that chorus.
  10. Great to see 'My Size' moved up to the A List, catchy little song! Fekky has had a big year.

In that scenario, you'd just know we'd draw 1-1 with Russia, 0-0 with Tunisia and beat South Korea 1-0 to scrape through.
  12. Not3s Top 100... I think 'My Lover' will be his first top 40 hit!
  13. Top 20 hit! No love for this?
  14. Yeah the hook is very off-putting... it's like a very annoying Nicki Minaj track.

I got Poland, Egypt and South Korea - not the easiest group by any stretch and one that would probably see England go through with a win and two draws. Two toughest groups were France-Uruguay-Denmark-Nigeria and Brazil-Spain-Senegal-Serbia. Spain in Pot 2 is the real outlier... seeing a lot of hype for Nigeria in Pot 4 too (the Guardian have tipped them for the quarter finals).
  16. In the UK, I'd argue Skepta was bigger. Not sure on the instrumental on this one.

Pot 1 Russia (Hosts) Germany (Holders) Brazil Portugal Argentina Belgium Poland France Pot 2 Spain Peru Switzerland England Mexico Colombia Uruguay Croatia Pot 3 Denmark Iceland Costa Rica Sweden Tunisia Egypt Senegal Iran Pot 4 Serbia Nigeria Australia Japan Morocco Panama Korea Republic Saudi Arabia For me this is the equivalent of Christmas Day, I cannot wait! Feel free to speculate before the draw in two weeks time.

The Blacker The Berry Finishing runner-up is 2017 anthem 'HUMBLE.', the biggest single from Kendrick's latest album. I think this was his first UK Top 10 single too and has become a club staple this year - and it's not hard to see why. Perhaps a little radio-friendly, however this chorus is memorable and the video again was superb. Unquestionably going to be one of those songs which will have high club play in the future and a guaranteed festival anthem and mosh-pit starter. B5YNiCfWC3A And the winner is Kendrick's first mainstream single 'Swimming Pools (Drank)'! Perhaps a testament to this song's ability to stand the test of time, it convincingly won this final. With a production that manages to be both laidback and claustrophobic, the introspective lyrics and earworm of a hook instantly made this a fan favourite in 2012 and was the song that really made people begin to take notice of Kendrick Lamar. A worthy winner for me! Thank You all who voted and participated in discussion, we are open to suggestions for the next artist to receive the 'Least Favourite Single' treatment!
  19. Probably best for the tournament that Eriksen and Denmark have qualified ahead of the Irish... their limitations were shown up fully tonight!
  20. He's worked with quite an impressive list already. I can think of RAYE, Yungen, Major Lazer, French Montana, Stefflon Don and Ty Dolla Sign this year alone.
  21. Agree with Not3s and Yxng Bane, both are probably next in line to fully cross over although that depends how long the trend for UK afro rap will continue. Hopefully 'My Lover' becomes a big chart hit for Not3s, it certainly sounds like it could. More recommendations from me are: Avelino (biggest songs: 1 in a Million/Energy) MoStack (biggest songs: Liar Liar/Screw & Brew) Kojo Funds (biggest songs: Dun' Talkin/Warning) Lotto Boyzz (biggest songs: No Don/Birmingham) Mr Eazi (biggest songs: Leg Over/Skin Tight)
  22. Is she actually though? Really want that new Not3s song to be a hit, it's very catchy!
  23. Still 12 hours to vote!
  24. I consider four nations to be the cornerstone of any World Cup: Brazil, Germany, Italy and Argentina. To see one of these miss out is such a shocker, and the tournament will be a poorer spectacle without the Italians. They always bring drama or controversy or sublime skill and unlikely results. On another note, all these goalless play off games... doesn't bode well for the World Cup does it.
