Hoping against hope this is something like his Dutty Rock era or like 'Temperature'.

World Cup Qualifying
Good to see a variety of nations who don't normally qualify get there! Will be interesting to see the likes of Morocco, Tunisia and Senegal alongside teams like Panama and Saudi Arabia and hopefully Peru too. This qualifying campaign is exactly why the World Cup shouldn't expand to 48 teams. These qualifiers have felt like part of the actual tournament with big teams already knocked out.

Final: Least Favourite Kendrick Lamar Single
GF8aaTu2kg0 3. Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe (11 Votes) 4. King Kunta 5. Backseat Freestyle 6. Alright 7. Poetic Justice 8. DNA 9. i 10. LOYALTY. 11. LOVE. 12. The Blacker The Berry Falling at the penultimate hurdle is one of my favourite Kendrick classics! I remember this receiving an all-star remix from Jay Z (and Emeli Sande) which is perhaps indication of how popular this song was. Such a chilled listen, a chorus to chant and a eye-catching video... it's not hard to see why this is so high up. Final closes at midnight on Tuesday, giving you almost three days to vote. Lets try and get at least 25 votes on this!

Rita Ora: The Singles Rate RESULTS
I don't think 'Lay Down Your Weapons' is that bad, but wow it sounds so dated now. It happened because K Koke had been signed to Roc Nation (where Rita Ora was too) and this was the attempt to break him in the UK. The single he released before (Turn Back with Maverick Sabre) was ten times better than this, and he was dropped soon after. I think the problem was K Koke literally only rapped about one subject - his hard upbringing and had no real pop sensibilities. He needed to release a lighter-hearted track before trying something like this. Not surprised to see it last, but probably shouldn't be (not when Poison is here).

BBC Radio 1Xtra Playlist
Some good adds this week for Dave, Fredo, Lotto Boyzz, Nadia Rose and Yungen. Not really heard 'Gucci Gang' yet, I imagine it's a mumble rap American hit though. Great to see 'My Lover' on the A-List so soon, it's my favourite song right now and I can genuinely see it being a chart hit!

Eminem - Revival
It's very un-Buzzjack friendly isn't it? It's okay, underwhelming but I can see myself getting into it.
-
Fuse ODG - Boa Me (feat. Ed Sheeran & Mugeez)
I heard its premiere, it was catchy on first listen and sounds like a grower! Ed Sheeran sounded really good on it too.

RAYE - Decline (ft. Mr Eazi)
I like the song but I can't disagree with that.

Semi Final: Least Favourite Kendrick Lamar Single
Voted Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe, almost impossible at this stage. I think HUMBLE. is probably the most basic song left, but I get so much enjoyment banging that out I can't say it's my least favourite.

The Blacker The Berry One of my Kendrick favourites falls just before the semi finals. If I remember rightly, King Kunta impacted the UK during a rare April heatwave in 2015 and this song sounded perfect in the unseasonably warm sun. Funky and with high replay value, this cemented myself as one of my favourites from that year and it still holds up today! Semi Final will close on Thursday at midnight, let's get as many votes as possible!

HATECHART 2017 - VOTING
It's a shame and reinforces my belief the R&B forum mods are on a hiding to nothing. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't get it to appreciate any Lil Uzi Vert.

2017/18 FA Premier League
The whole club is dysfunctional - the board, management, players, stadium. I think we are in real danger of going down. This reminds me of when Newcastle appointed Steve McClaren.

2017/18 FA Premier League
David Moyes is our new manager... this reminds me of Roeder and Grant - the last two managers to relegate us. Better prepare for Shrewsbury next season.

Miguel - War & Leisure
'Told You So' sounds both perfectly suited to Miguel and very fresh!

2017/18 FA Premier League
Yesterday was just typical of West Ham since the stadium move... a home thrashing, live on TV. The first goal, when it was three Liverpool attackers against Cresswell, was the kind of goal you'd expect to concede in the 90th minute chasing an equaliser. It keeps happening, too open defensively and the players seem unfit. I really like Bilic, especially for that final season at Upton Park which seems a lifetime ago now. But we are going down as it stands, the next QPR or Villa or Sunderland. Moyes would be a terrible appointment, but who are we going to attract? The club is a mess of overpaid and underperforming players, interfering owners and a soul crushing stadium. Relegation would be a disaster.

Moyes and Neville... might jack my season ticket in. Relegation beckons.

Championship 2017/18 Season
Could Bristol City actually be promoted this season?! Personally I think it'd be fantastic to see all the big clubs and teams given a warm Bristolian welcome.

Spotify Chart Thread [Q4 2017] | Eminem #1, Ed #2 combined
100% with this, 'No Words' sounds huge!

Dave - No Words (feat. MoStack)
3jtl1fTccqs This has charted at #25 in the UK Top 50 on Spotify after one day and no New Music Friday support - some accomplishment! Dave has been growing in popularity for a while, both 'Wanna Know' and 'Samantha' received mainstream support and this new effort is in the same vein. A piano-backed beat and a melodic chorus from Dave are the highlights and Dave and the featured MoStack trade bars in the verses. Hope to see some success for this, could be Dave's first Top 40 hit?

Round 9: Least Favourite Kendrick Lamar Single
EZW7et3tPuQ 5. Backseat Freestyle (8 Votes) 6. Alright 7. Poetic Justice 8. DNA 9. i 10. LOYALTY. 11. LOVE. 12. The Blacker The Berry Backseat Freestyle has lasted longer than I expected, but falls close to the end. I associate this song particularly with the start of 2013 - I was in my last year of sixth form and one of my mates would play this on this phone and rap the lyrics at me. I wasn't big on this song then, but I do appreciate it now - I wouldn't necessarily put it on by choice but wouldn't stick it on shuffle. Vote closes Sunday at midnight, let's get over 20 votes as we close in on the final!
