  1. Deserved defeat today... 4-0 was an accurate reflection of the game, although I do think that's down to Liverpool's quality as much as our own performance. Funnily enough, I didn't think we were dreadful but played a suicidal high line while the Noble/Rice midfield shield didn't work on any level. On the other hand, the keeper looked decent and Anderson showed his quality in flashes. Our season properly starts next Saturday at home to Bournemouth (which I am going to). On another note, Sky's pre-match coverage of the game was nauseating. Three ex-Liverpool pundits on and in an hour's build-up West Ham were mentioned a handful of times. Carragher had plainly done no research into us and if you didn't know who was playing Sky would have you believe Liverpool were playing Man City or Arsenal. It makes the 'Top 6' very unlikeable in general but I believe Liverpool are the worst for this.
  2. The last few votes have meant there are five songs on roughly the same points in this group! Any more votes would sway it decisively.
  3. Deadline closes at midnight, still time for votes!
  4. It had been on there for the last two or three months but I am surprised they've taken it off. Good to see Fredo, Kojo Funds and RAY BLK get support.
  5. Went to watch Bristol Rovers v Accrington Stanley yesterday (closest team to home and that) and the away team won 2-1 with a last minute winner. Rovers were poor, their main tactic seemed to be long balls from the centre backs out to the wings which went out for a throw in! Accrington had some decent ball players, and despite less possession created the better chances and deserved their victory. Respect to the 100 or so fans who came down from Accrington to Bristol to see their side's first ever win in the third tier!
  6. Thank you to everybody who has voted so far, cannot fault the level of participation so far! Still have today and tomorrow to get your votes in for the eight groups, all of which still have something riding on them so your vote can still make all the difference!

w2KlSU8VExg Sounds strong on first couple of listens, like an early Emeli Sande single and the kind of thing Jorja Smith should release more of. Topical too, addressing the issue of street-crime in London. Could be a hit if stations such as Heart and R1 pick this up.
  8. Group F is also the closest as it stands!
  9. I'd say it was Group D and Group F personally!
  10. I felt the same today with two songs... Ini Kamoze - 'Here Comes The Hotstepper' and M-Beat/General Levy - 'Incredible'!
  11. Would you like to edit one of these?
  12. You might want to edit these!
  13. +10 Eminem- Lose Yourself +9 Kanye West - Jesus Walks +8 Kelis - Trick Me +7 Missy Elliott - Work It +6 Kanye West feat. Jabba - Move Your Body Very hard to order this group outside of 'Lose Yourself' which is the best song here!
  14. +10 Usher feat. Lil Jon & Ludacris - Yeah! +9 The Game feat. 50 Cent- Hate It Or Love It +8 2Pac feat. Dr. Dre - California Love +7 Mr Vegas - Heads High +6 Jay-Z - 99 Problems +5 Drake feat. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem- Forever +4 50 Cent feat. G-Unit & Snoop Dogg – P.I.M.P. +3 Flo Rida feat. T-Pain - Low +2 Destiny's Child - Bootylicious +1 Sugarhill Gang - Apache (Jump On It) No standout song in this section, but very tight between the top five.
  15. +10 50 Cent - In Da Club +9 Nelly feat. Kelly Rowland - Dilemma +8 Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go +7 Busta Rhymes feat. Mariah Carey - I Know What You Want +6 So Solid Crew - 21 Seconds +5 Eve feat. Gwen Stefani - Let Me Blow Ya Mind +4 TLC - No Scrubs +3 Wu-Tang Clan - C.R.E.A.M. +2 Dizzee Rascal - Fix Up, Look Sharp +1 Chamillionare - Ridin' Who can tell that the first music I really remember was 2002/03  Macklemore feels too recent to be in this, but that could age as well as some of these. 'Ayo Technology' was unlucky to miss out here too.
  16. +10 Outkast - Hey Ya +9 Blackstreet feat. Dr Dre - No Diggity +8 The Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy +7 TLC - Waterfalls +6 Puff Daddy feat. Faith Evans – I’ll Be Missing You +5 Craig David - 7 Days +4 Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz feat. Ying Yang Twins - Get Low +3 TLC - Creep +2 Kanye West - Stronger +1 Brandy & Monica - The Boy Is Mine 'Hey Ya' is probably the best pop song ever, while anybody who has ever been on a night out must have heard 'No Diggity'. Otherwise, difficult to pick the order for the rest of these... hard on Sean Paul but We Be Burnin' isn't as good as some of his songs that didn't get nominated (Gimme The Light, Like Glue, Temperature).
  17. +10 Gyptian - Hold Yuh +9 Blu Cantrell feat. Sean Paul - Breathe +8 Ja Rule feat. Ashanti - Always On Time +7 Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg - The Next Episode +6 Justin Timberlake - Like I Love You +5 Frank Ocean - Thinkin Bout You +4 N.E.R.D- She Wants To Move +3 Jay Z - Hard Knock Life +2 Twista feat. Kanye West & Jamie Foxx - Slow Jamz +1 Ms. Dynamite - Dy-Na-Mi-Tee (FIFA 2003 throwback) This is the hardest group I think, the most competitive one... Went for 'Hold Yuh' as the +10 simply because it became a massive crossover hit at a time when the charts were full of Guetta-pop! To be honest, the first 7 songs here could easily be the top pick.
  18. +10 Warren G feat. Nate Dogg - Regulate +9 Nas feat. Lauryn Hill - If I Ruled The World +8 Coolio feat. L.V - Gangsta's Paradise +7 Donell Jones feat. Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes – U Know What’s Up +6 Wiz Khalifa - Black And Yellow +5 Timbaland feat. Keri Wilson & DOE - The Way I Are +4 Lumidee - Never Leave You (Uh Oh) +3 Shaggy - It Wasn't Me +2 Pras feat. ODB & Mya – Ghetto Superstar +1 Lil Wayne - A Milli Strong Hip Hop group this, 'Regulate' still sounds so smooth  Donnell Jones should be getting more love too!
  19. +10 Sean Paul - Get Busy +9 Outkast - Ms Jackson +8 R.Kelly – Ignition (Remix) +7 Fat Joe feat. Ashanti – What’s Luv? +6 Missy Elliott - Get Ur Freak On +5 2Pac feat. Elton John - Ghetto Gospel +4 Drake - Best I Ever Had +3 Aaliyah - More Than a Woman +2 Snoop Dogg feat. Justin Timberlake & Charlie Wilson - Signs +1 Kendrick Lamar feat. MC Eiht - m.A.A.d city This was a brutal group, could easily have nominated 'Try Again', 'Over' and 'Be Faithful' too! 'What's Luv' is such an underrated gem these days, overshadowed by other Murder Inc. releases but still so good  The top 3 are undisputed classics, as is the Missy Elliott song.
  20. +10 Kevin Lyttle - Turn Me On +9 Kanye West feat. Jamie Foxx - Gold Digger +8 Lauryn Hill - Doo Wop (That Thing) +7 2Pac – Changes +6 Mary J Blige - Family Affair +5 A Tribe Called Quest feat. Busta Rhymes - Scenario +4 Ghost Town DJs - My Boo +3 Daddy Yankee - Gasolina +2 Estelle feat. Kanye West - American Boy +1 Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland - Promiscuous 'Turn Me On' is one of my favourite songs, so an obvious choice for the +10! So many of these songs still get regular play in clubs too... 'Gold Digger', 'Family Affair', 'My Boo', 'Gasolina' and 'American Boy' are all staples.
