Another indicator that the sound of the streets this year has not been Grime, but in fact Afro/Caribbean influenced rap. The last part of the chorus is the part that really sticks in my head! Recommended for those who have liked J Hus, Not3s, Kojo Funds and Yxng Bane this year.

That was originally an Alkaline solo tune from a year ago, still bangs now! 'A Lie' is the obvious second single choice here.

There is a much different feel to threads like this when its this type of song doing well though, compared to if a dance or R&B song was. That's all the original poster was getting at.

The only thing I would say is that it is probably a bit too soon for deep house to become 'the thing' again. I'm hoping against hope that garage can make a miraculous comeback!
