Confederations Cup 2017
I quite enjoyed the tournament, saw most of the games. The Portugal - Chile and Chile - Germany matches were very high quality ones despite the lack of goals and the other semi final was class too as Mexico gave the Germans a good game and scored the goal of the tournament. I think if the latter stages of the World Cup are similar in quality we'll be in for a treat. Russia were limited obviously but they actually played quite well in the second half against Portugal once they took the attack to the opposition. I don't think they'll be quite as bad as everyone will predict during the World Cup but they'll get a hard draw whoever the opposition.

Surprised at the longevity of Post Malone... I don't actually know many people who like the song much. Suppose it is big in America though, wish a song like 'Caroline' could have had this success. See Yungen/Yxng Bane rising though, that is a tune! Find myself singing the chorus at work, perfect UK rap summer song.

Where is the Summer Banger of 2017???
Surely it's the Love Island theme tune? I think Wild Thoughts, Unforgettable, I'm the One, Slide and Did You See almost have the summer sewn up for me. Without mentioning Despacito.

Slide is better I think, although 'Feels' is pretty decent.

Other countries you support in international football
My dad compared Chile and Colombia from 2014 to Romania and Bulgaria in USA 94 and I can see where he's coming from. All were entertaining loose cannons! Hope Chile and Colombia can be as good next year.

Rudimental feat. James Arthur - Sun Comes Up
Sounded disappointingly trend-chasing to me on first listen.
-
Redlight feat. Liv Dawson & Kojo Funds - I'll Be Waiting
Kojo Funds feature.

M.O – TBA
She looks fit! Intrigued to hear any new material they put out.

Stupidly just ran 3 miles in 17 minutes and it made me feel sick... I normally aim for just under or spot on 7 minute miles but got carried away at the start. Never going that fast again.

World Cup Qualifying
Most of us have enjoyed that moment of excitement when we decide that it would be a great idea to have a party. In the first full flush of eager generosity, we invite everyone we know. It's going to be such fun! That's pretty much the best part over for the host. Then you have to cope with the expense, the preparation and the worries about who's going to turn up. During the party, you fret about whether or not everyone's having a good time. Then when they've all gone home, you have to clear up the depressing mess, wash the stains out of the carpet and pay for all the damage. But if you think that's bad, imagine hosting a World Cup. Hosting the World Cup is a much worse scenario. FIFA is not only your outside caterer, it also becomes the self-invited control freak that tells you exactly how to run your own party. At huge expense, it bullies you into remodelling and renaming all your rooms ("This bog is now the Coca Cola Personal Hygiene Facility"). It moodily threatens to move the party somewhere else if you don't get your act together and finish the preparations on time. It dictates which beer and food to serve. It makes sure that it will be the guest of honour, quaffing vintage champagne in an exclusive VIP room with its best corporate friends, and you'll only be allowed in wearing a butler's uniform. And then when it's all over, it packs up and leaves you feeling used and empty – like those huge, all-seater stadiums it insisted that you needed so that Chile could play Honduras. I've always wanted England to host the World Cup, but this extract from When Saturday Comes offers an entertaining and probably true outlook. Good luck Russia.

EastEnders
If EastEnders is so bad now, why do you lot still watch it? Is it only to complain about on here?!

Wild Thoughts living up to all the pre-release hype then! Song's got a lot of people talking and it does sound a lot more interesting than 'I'm the One'. Although part of that might be down to how Rihanna looks in the video...

Drake - Signs
Nothing we haven't heard before but another chill banger! However much I love him, he does need to take a long break.

Loving the adds for Dr. Vades, Not3s and Yungen this week and the promotioñs for Dave, Dizzee Rascal and Lil Yachty to the A List! Wish 'All Around the World' wasn't stalling on the C List though.

Stand alone release I think, not associated with an album. Does sound like a hit though and it is Drake!

Nico & Vinz - Elephant in the Room EP
Yeah Am I Wrong was almost ahead of its time (I always remember it alongside 'Rude') and both songs were some of the first big Pop African influenced hits. Ignoring Fuse ODG of course.

Love Island • Series 3
Loving this right now! Glad Jess got kicked off and I think Chris/Olivia deserve each other. Don't like her personality at all.
