I knew that, maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. (And I promise I won't drag this on any longer after this.) My point was, just because she was #1 in the final, she wasn't necessarily the most popular one from day 1. Just two weeks earlier, she ranked #6 out of 7 (very narrowly beating Aimee), and two weeks before that, she was #3 out of 4. Not that it matters too much now, and she obviously became the most popular quite soon after the programme (maybe not immediately, but soon). And although she wouldn't have been my first choice, I don't mind the way things turned out, she's clearly very good at being popular (which is much more than being just likeable).

I don't think that's accurate (other than the final), out of 4 appearances during Popstars, she almost got eliminated twice. Not knowing the exact figures, but guessing from who was safe each week, I think Nadine, Nicola, and probably Sarah and Javine got more votes through the whole competition. Also, we all know that people don't only vote on talent - looks, personality, sympathy or even someone coming from the same area could earn votes, which is fair enough, these things also come into play outside thses TV shows. In case anyone was wondering, I think the public got it right in this particular occasion :)

This might be a good time for me to write something positive at last: Rock Steady even impressed me :)

If the first part shocked you, don't worry - I'm absolutely sure I'm the odd one here with my taste in music. :) If it was the second part, well, considering what followed, even the Girls themselves thought so (apart from Nadine, apparently). I'm not happy about it either, but that doesn't change it.

I never liked it. but I doubt any other song would have done better. It was no longer their time.
