Solid album. Would benefit from fewer tracks and some she’s released over the years. But her voice and style is just so good.

I think this comes from the the Tangled Up Tour intro. Black Jacks is one of the song titles that appears before the curtain drops and the others are their singles.

Before they release No Good Advice, a song called “Can’t Stop Rocking” was a contender to be the second single. There were threads about it on the forums. It didn’t get chosen in the end but many believe this song ended up on the SOTU album as Mars Attack due to the lyrics. Lucky escape there…

We hear “if someone else sang it nobody would care” quite a lot but surely that is why she (and the other artists who get this) is the star. It is the singer that brings the song to life. The voice, the emotion… they deliver something special. And Adele is definitely showing her star power with these numbers. Amazing!

The Show. No contest. Girls Aloud were peak pop. Burn is the least memorable of the songs that beat Girls Aloud to #1 during their string of #2s.

Were they? Their fans were teenagers at the time surely?

You say squander, I say plan well because you feel you deserve a nice long break at the end of the year and can still go on multiple breaks a year.

They really need to cut Nicki’s part when they perform this or get some sort of video screen. The Michael McIntyre performance was good when they were doing something but with Nicki’s bit being so long and the fact they don’t sing the chorus they are just hopping for most of the song!

It will be interesting to see the reaction to Zara’s performance considering Cheryl was slated for being raunchy and dated for having a dance break... all featured here. LOL.

Cheryl’s vocals are hardly amazing even on recordings. She didn’t sound far off! There are far worse vocal performances from “credible” artists. I’m not surprised people have leaped at the chance to criticise her though. They’ve done it all her career.

It’s still more interesting than the actual chart half the time!

I’m going to need an extended version of Wasabi. Obsessed!
