  1. Good - glad you understood that much, anyway.
  2. well said - it's a shame the kiddies can't seem to get their head around the SONG and not the ARTIST. Whether you like her or not, she clearly had the three best pop songs on this whole sorry kist. But young gays are very spiteful...... the way this competition's been hijacked... I'd just close the thread now.... it's utterly pointless...at this rate you'll be left with SClub 7 and Atomic Kitten.
  3. Lovely artwork, a nice concept..... but Bjork, love... you've forgotten the songs.... whilst Biophilia contains some nice noises and is typically arthouse.... the glaring fact here is that, once again, you needed someone to curb your rampant self indulgence. A decent producer and a, gulp... songwriter. This isn't a film score for a Lars von Trier movie about mentally subnormal 5 year olds being sent to space in a shuttle armed with an array of cheapo toy instruments (although at times, this is exactly how it sounds), this is supposedly your comeback album after the absolute worst record of your career. Much of the album is unlistenable..... and I'm a longtime fan of this lady.
  4. This list has more shit in it than a 6-month old baby force-fed vindaloo for a week... however, it HAS to be the complete non-event and never-was, Holly Valance... a girl so boring she makes us rue the day we were ever nice to Australians. And on a list that includes vileness like Atomic Kitten, Shakira and SClub 7.... are you people SERIOUS voting for Bad Romance? I'm a million miles away from being a GaGa fan but, let's be honest, I sense it's more of an anti-GaGa sentiment than a rational vote (it's them pesky Rihanna fans, I think, bless their cotton socks). Now, now children.

Hi there, any idea what number Wild Man by Kate Bush is? Looks to have dropped outta the top 100? Hugely disappointing placing for such a fantastic single.... :(
  6. eh? It's about time the actual worst song left... looks like for this round, it's actually gonna happen.
  7. I think this is my favourite Kate Bush single since This Woman's Work - it's ridiculously addictive and really does get better with every listen. The extended version available on iTunes is just incredible.....
  8. I'd rather pick John McCrirrick's nose and eat his snot than listen to Hips Don't Lie... so she gets my vote.

  10. that's REALLY good....
  11. Hips Don't Lie - the aural equivalent of tucking into a bowl of microwaved dogshit.
  12. I like that! Doesn't look simplistic...and plus, the 'Teeth from Neath' looks unusually splendid in that pic!
  13. :o christ, WHAT clubs do you frequent? If I heard that song in any club I ventured to, I'd hang the DJ. Then again, Cardiff and Swansea aint known for decent nightlife (and I'm from Cardiff myself) :(
  14. After the unmitigated shame of ejecting the best 4 songs on the whole list in the first four rounds (only at Buzzjack could a Gorillaz classic be thrown out when there's SClub 7, Shakira and Britney Spears junk on the list), we're left with a pretty sorry selection..... the obvious turd on the lawn is Shakira and her very own brand of 'gargling on a sandal' - 'Hips Don't Lie' - GHASTLY song.
  15. Sounds quite similar to her best era (The Dreaming)... and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it... like all the best songs, it's not immediate.... but after 5 or 6 plays... I'm completely hooked..... after the career lowpoint that was Director's Cut, this is a phenomenal return. It'll be completely over the heads of 90% of music buyers in 2011 (and most of Buzzjack members, unfortunately), but that kind of adds to the appeal. Brilliant.

  17. When there's a list that, frankly, shit...only a site like Buzzjack could get rid of a groundbreaking, iconic and influential song like Feel Good Inc. Buzzjack - you embarrass me at times.

  19. I'm just staggered that there's people here saying they don't like the original, for starters.... Teardrop is one of those songs - a track that you must be criminally deaf to dislike. I find this cover version pretty unlistenable - made by a host of poeple who obviously don't 'get' the song in the first place. It's almost sacrilege to cover a song like Teardrop - especially when there's laughably untalented riff raff like NDubz involved. Kind of beggars belief. The otherworldly beauty of Elizabeth Fraser's voice... replaced by...er... Dappy?   I say for get this awful version, pop some money into a charity box somewhere, and go invest in the original and the classic album it's off, Mezzanine..... a masterpiece.

Alex has got this in the bag now I think..... she's BB gold. Spray tan was the highlight of the series so far.
  21. Absolutely spot on. All it does is pander to the simpleton straight men who loathe gays but love a bit of lesbo action. Utterly vile. Great song though.
  22. agreed - wish he'd stay off that webcam, though

now THAT'S a black and white legal system - because many many crimes are simply impossible to prove 100% despite it being 99.9999% certain that that person is guilty. Under this sytem, there'd be a lot of smug murderers walking the streets. And tonight, in America, there actually IS a particularly smug murderer walking the streets thanks to a messy investigation by police who simply weren't up to the job.

... the law, quite often, is an ass - and like I said earlier, she's been released because they can't find her 100% guilty. But they can't find her 100% innocent, either - at the very least, she was a knowing, willing accomplice who was either involved in the murder or who willingly covered up the facts of what happened that awful night..... and, again like I said earlier, surely NOW is the time to tell the truth.
  25. Lady GaGa this time.....
