RIP Mr Karn... let's not forget his sterling solo work, too - and, of course, his stellar work on many Kate Bush albums - in fact, his trademark wobbly bass can be heard on most Kate songs from 82 onwards - many he didn't even get credit for.... My favourite Kan moment is 'Buoy', his collaboration with David Sylvian...... totally beautiful.

Matt was a deserving winner - but I do have a sneaky suspicion that if Rebecca had saved 'Amazing Grace' for a week and they'd decided on this as a Christmas single as opposed to the seriously duff Duffy track - we may have been looking at a different outcome.

Well there's little doubt the absolute worst song of the year (and possibly decade) is the Black Eyed Peas' 'The Time' - a record even Jive Bunny would be mortified to be responsible for - a-troc-ious.

The ones I like best of mine are usually the ones that never win.

It's an album everyone should have anyway, really.... and it's not my favourite Blondie album - that's either 'Eat To The Beat' or 'Autoamerican', which is hugely underrated, I think.

It's all a bit confusing... is the physical release now out? Or just the download? I've a feeling the physical release is next month? In any case - Night People is phenomenal - easily my single of the year.....

Mikey - Nicole, I think - the PSB one looks a bit heavy metal for the PSBs...

Nah, it won't chart - but looking at the charts these past few months - thank GOD for that, eh?! :lol: It's great to see the serious dance magazines behind the single, though - they realise the importance of Human League - without them and Kraftwerk, we wouldn't have electronica, simple as. Plus, the single's getting support from loads of the big-name DJs, mainly because the mixes are phenomenal. Thanks for the comment on mine, too.... took aaaages :wacko:

a vanity thing, I reckon.... PSB and HL are both in their 50s now. PSB usually make incredible videos, though, bar London and Home and Dry, of course :(

Third one, Notso, I reckon. And seanster - another lovely piece of work.... for a really brillaint single, too... who'd have thought The Human League would come back with a single (and remixes) as fabulous?! :yahoo:

The remixes are on YouTube, too - check the Emperor Machine remix - PHENOMENAL!!!! And the Cerrone mix is pretty special, too.

I love her voice... but.... I heard Your Song on the radio yesterday - and it's a really unremarkable, bland cover of a true classic.

I really love the single.... but then, I think I'm the only person in the world who thought the final Oasis album was the best they'd ever done..... and this isn't that dissimilar. On a related note - has anyone seen Liam's clothing range, Pretty Green? It's a bit pricey - but there's some truly stunning shirts, scarfs, jackets and t-shirts. Google their website.
