  1. I kind of agree - it's definitely in her top 3 best albums. What baffles me is that it's been virtually ignored by the music press in their 'Year Best Ofs'.... it didn't feature anywhere in the Q one (I think they're pissed off Kate gave her only interview to Mojo).... it features at number 5 in the Attitude albums of the year, though.
  2. LOVE the new band logo - not sure about the actual cover shot, though.

me too - greatest Christmas song ever. As long as it's not the ghastly Lidl Pigs, I'm happy.

Now we've got rid of the nauseating cancer that is Katy Perry, we're left with a fairly decent final 2. But rihanna is miles and away the better single to be fair.

absolutely agree...it's shameful that it's still on this list. Absolute vomit.

yea, but he's yesterday's news, really.... Timbaland was THE name to be using, say, 5 years ago. Now? Blah.
  7. agreed... despite being very female, there is something weirdly androgenous about LDR.... she looks like a seriously successful sex change. Try saying that with a lisp.

I think testament to this is that there's not one, but TWO Gratey Perry tracks left on this list. Ugh.

    Gratey freakin Perry
  10. I received the gorgeous limited 12" of Shake It Out from The Vinyl Factory website last week... STUNNING. Only 500 of them, white vinyl and a gorgeous Lagerfeld sleeve. Pricey. But worth every penny.

yes, quite. And the song is shit.
  13. I agree. The British public simply cannot be trusted to decide on their own. I mean, look at things like the Record of the Year.... for all those years won by... gulp.... Westlife...... and look at the Brits, the award chosen by the public...... the people who actually vote in these things are, on the whole, quite simple, and should never be given too much of a voice.
  14. XFactor have had far, far better bands than Little Pigs, let's be honest. The final was a pretty lacklustre, humdrum affair..... thankfully Kelly Rowland left her nauseating 'ghetto speak' in the house.... sorry love, this is not America. But the NDubz chavette.... I cringed at her 'rallying calls' - desperate, really. And I still think having a member of Britain's worst band (official) giving advice and judgements to wannabe pop stars is kind of laughable. She'll always be the women with two cu**s to me I'm afraid. My overriding feeling is that this contest had one genuine talent with a shred of XFactor - Misha B, who will undoubtedly go on to big things. Yes, Little Pigs will sell records..... but kids will buy anything..... if it's on telly, it must be good - period. I worked in music retail long enough to understand the power of hype and TV advertising. And Cowell's the master of hype, end of, whether it's any good or not. And judging by their pitiful performance last night, Westlife are testament to this. I still think Rowland robbed Jade of a place in this contest - and a possible win. Just don't think she 'got' Jade..... who, let's be honest, was a gorgeous blend of Adele and Amy, very 'now'. But she didn't look the part... and Rowland couldn't see past this.

Only 2 people voted for the Godawful Fireworks? Yikes... think back to THAT XFactor performance, peeps..... EASILY the shabbiest song on this, admittedly pretty shabby, list.
  16. Good a time as any... after all, nobody's died....
  17. Well done Little Pigs. Not. Still, at least we know where Paul McCartney is now.... The chubby one looks like him in a joke shop wig and cheap drag.

Same here. I can't believe ANY of her impossibly awful singles are still on this list.....
  19. Human is also their best video so I hope they include it on the accompanying blu-ray
  20. I think that's one of their finest - sounds like it belongs on a Bond theme. Surprised it's been overlooked.
  21. No Caravan Girl either... not that that's a massive loss to be honest....
  22. Mmm.... not terribly badly then. I see it's plummeted from number five to number 26 in the Uk this week. Quite a drop...
  23. I agree..... Awful font for the album title, but a seriously GORGEOUS cover all the same

Thank God the two tracks for simpletons are out... What's My Name sounds like it was written by a 4 year old... and the less said about the rancid Katy Perry the better...... California Girls out next please. Another vile addition to an already vile back catalogue.
  25. ...has it done anything in the States at all?
