Cody S. Kennedy

first Kylie #1 in over a decade, what a time to be alive 🤩

iirc it’s about how much the song gains in sales/streams relative to market shift

my god nelionoir were on something once February hit, just banger after banger

not me flopping in this 😭

Will also say that my low point this year was the stress I had hosting WHILE THE NEW SITE WAS GOING LIVE Thanks so much for giving me this opportunity and you’re welcome for being the guinea pig 🧡 hopefully you get to some of the aesthetic requests soon (expanded color wheel when)

just using the template from last year with a few additions: Qualifiers: 10/10 Wins: 1 Top 5s: 2 Top 10s: 5 Top 20s: 8 My Entry Ranking: 01 | ALT BLK ERA - Hunt You Down [171, 1st] 02 | Tsatsamis - Sweet Praise [177, 7th] 03 | CHUNG HA - Stress [173, 13th] 04 | Debbii Dawson - The Great Magician [172, 7th] 05 | Ashley Sienna - REBORN [179, 20th] 06 | Jerry Heil - Earth (Dradada) [180, 4th] 07 | Zanias - Serpentsmile [178, 10th] 08 | Momma - I Want You (Fever) [174, 20th] 09 | AMAKA/DETO BLACK - Spin It [176, 27th] 10 | Jodie Harsh - Kiss It Better [175, 40th] Fave contest: 177 (and 172 of course, the Overwatch concept was so fun to do) Fave discovery: honestly there’s so many I may need to make a ranking in my national thread One word to describe this year: Comeback Truly a year for the ages. I thought 2024 was kinda weak for my standards but this was nothing of the sort. Honestly I think a switch inside me turned on after I sent emlyn 😂 New EOY peak likely (definitely my highest placement since 2019), beat my record for most top 10’s in a calendar year, sending K-pop for my 100th, tested new genres with surprising results, chef’s kiss.

2023 THREAD 2024 THREAD Just like the last two years, I just wanted to get a checkup from everyone: how was BJSC for you over the course of this year? Did you kill it or do you think this year left a lot to be desired? Come share here 🧡

and with that I’ve voted for every winner aside from my ow this year! Congrats Dan! 🧡 8 hits is now my record for the year 😲 thanks to everyone who supported Jerry Heil and wrapping up what is now the new Cor Lupus peak!

OH MY GOD A LAST SECOND 18

wow I could be out of the top 10 just yet

Some of y’all love betting on losing dogs and it shows

judging by who’s left I think danaeviia has it

wouldn’t be the first time I was grossly overhyped

MY FIRST POINTS IN A HALF HOUR

given how this has been moving I’ll get snubbed by all four

first time we’re seeing the top 10 with over 200 in a while

can’t wait to drop out of the top 10 at this rate

here comes the slide

ah yes a points drought at the very end. now THIS is the cor lupus experience

I figured it was too good to be true I have zero idea who else would give me high points from those remaining
