Technically Michigan, Minnesota and New Hampshire still have to vote, so Trump could still win the popular vote. But still, it just makes everything so much more disheartening. I am so disappointed right now. 59 million Americans decided to vote for a racist, a misogynist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, a climate change denier, you name it. And because of them, the Paris Agreement could very well fall apart, and our last chance to stop global warming will be blown. Not only that, but a woman's right to an abortion in America will likely be destroyed by the Republicans. And abroad, "people" like Marine Le Pen see their abhorrent views held by the most powerful man on earth. This is just the icing on the cake for a truly atrocious year.

According to the Guardian's live map, Nevada has just gone Clinton, taking her up to 215 electoral votes. The states which have yet to be announced seem to be mostly Democratic leaning states (except Arizona and Alaska), so I'm voting the rest vote for Clinton to keep Trump away from the White House.

I expect that when I wake up tomorrow at 6:10am (remember I live in France so that's 5:10GMT) the result will be pretty much certain. Until then, all that's left to do is to hope that the result will be a Clinton victory.

Unfortunately, I've got school on Wednesday, so staying up is not an option. Towards predictions, RealClearPolitics gives a 297-241 win for Clinton for no Toss-Ups. I would say that Clinton will win New Hampshire and Nevada, but I'm not sure on Florida. So a Clinton win, 278-260 if Florida votes Trump and 307-231 if Florida votes Clinton. I'm hesitating, but I think I'm going to say that Clinton will take Florida. Final prediction: 307-231

On Tuesday, Americans will choose whether they want to go forward in achieving equality for women, blacks and gays, or whether they want to go back to an age where those groups were denied the most basic of rights. Plus, Mike Pence, while not as bad as Trump, has still done some pretty terrible stuff as governor of Indiana. How on earth is the EU for traffic congestion? These reasons for voting Leave seem to only get more and more stupid. Use the Underground when you're in London, or public transport when you're in a large city. Or walk! It's not often that I agree with Noel Gallagher, but I think his assertion that the British public are "thick as pig shit" isn't totally wrong. Yes, because we should obtain driving licences in every country we'll ever drive in. That'll be a right waste of time for someone who, I don't know, may live in Belgium and work in Lille. And for people who prefer to drive to go on holiday if it's less than a 12 hour drive to get there, but pass through multiple countries. And as for the ridiculous notion that foreigners are somehow worse drivers than British people, they drive just as well. And cars which cost £500 are perfectly good and safe cars, whose only fault is that they're not brand new. They can be safely driven, and if they can't, they'll be put off the road at their next vehicle inspection.
