  1. I'm surprised "Unforgettable" by French Montana isn't doing better on downloads, looks like it's much more popular with streaming.
  2. Truth!

No, the UK is better off without the EU. Love Europe, hate the EU.

I find that it's the only way you can talk to these EU fanatics.

So what does that make the country Iceland? They're not in the EU, they're an island with the same population size as the city of Leicester AND they have managed to do a free trade deal with China but the EU hasn't. Just STOP with this constant talking down of the UK, I've been to many countries around the world and you should be so, so, grateful that you live in the UK.

Oh I can't wait until the UK officially leaves the ridiculous EU. The EU are the isolated ones not the UK once we're out.

Pardon me, the mafia EU are now demanding 100 BILLION for the Brexit fee. I see they're now doing a Diane Abbott and plucking numbers out of thin air. I must say the EU negotiation skills so far are truly inspiring, how will Theresa May cope
  8. Björk's Hyperballad is actually one of my favourite songs, Björk in the 90's was unstoppable, she was just able to find that middle line whilst being very original and still accessible to the average person.

Jeremy Corbyn's Labour are just the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to incompetence. The Conservatives are going to win this election by a clear mile.

It's literally less than a minute of your time, just find norwegian news sources when you type in Norway, EU, and polling.

More like they take the admin staff, whilst the City of London keeps the best financiers and bankers in the WORLD. Seriously you underestimate how valuable the City of London is to the world, most especially for the EU.

Do your own research, there are plenty of Norwegian sources out there which show clearly the drop in popularity to join the EU, of course for most of them you'll need to use the translate button.

I touched a nerve there B-) , Frankfurt and Dublin can keep the backroom staff, it won't add as much to their economies.

Google is your friend, you can see polling numbers from up to 10 and 15 years ago and the slow drop in popularity to join the EU from Norway.

Oh you mean the backroom staff that are moving to Dublin and Frankfurt, not the actual people that matter in financial services who are staying in the City of London.

40% in Norway , no it isn't, it's actually 8% in Norway that want to join the EU. And don't be surprised in 10 years time when the UK will be polling the same numbers.

:) If the EU want to put at risk the current deal the City of London has with the EU then say goodbye to the Euro.

This is all true but what about the people living in Norway, Iceland and Switzerland. The polling numbers for all of those countries to join the EU all come up with less than 10% of their population want to join the EU. They know they have it good to have free trade access to the EU without actually having to be a part of it, one downside is they have no say on the EU rules. That is why i think the UK should follow the Canada model and go for free trade deal only.
  19. PeaceMob posted a post in a topic in News and Politics
Yes, a free trade deal only, they're not joining the single market and having to accept the "four freedoms" of the EU. In fact I would love for the UK to have a similar deal with the EU that Canada has.
  20. PeaceMob posted a post in a topic in News and Politics
Yes, hypothetically they would big time. You have no idea how much the EU constraints the UK, the proof will be there for everyone to see when we actually leave in 2019. That's one reason the EU want to make Brexit extremely damaging and difficult for the UK. Look at Norway, Iceland, and Switzerland, three countries outside of the EU and yet those three have ZERO plans of joining the EU because they know their countries would be severely limited by the overbearing EU.

If countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States can cope without being in the EU single market then I'm 100% sure the UK can do too.

So you want the UK to pay £60 billion into the EU because that is the Brexit fee demand coming from the EU atm, but in the same breath pro-EU people complain about the £350 million a week not being paid into the NHS as promised in the referendum campaign. You can't have it both ways.

The BNP are not mainstream and they will NEVER get into power, the SNP on the other hand.....
  24. PeaceMob posted a post in a topic in News and Politics
It figures that you would be a nationalist when you talk to people like that.

The EU only care about the money, they know roughly £10 BIILION a year from the UK to the EU will be gone when we officially leave the EU in 2019, those days of the EU bureaucrats and most Eastern European countries sponging off from the UK are OVER. Thankfully Theresa May is not prepared to get down on her knees to President Juncker and do whatever he wants, if the EU don't want trade with the UK, that's fine by us we'll look elsewhere to a market of over 7 billion people outside of the EU. The EU has behaved extremely disrespectful to the UK after everything we have done for Europe, we're one of the few nations that have helped rebuild and bring most of Europe back on its feet again after the two world wars and the Cold war.
