Then why didn't Tim Farron just immediately say no he does not think gay sex is a sin. It's taken a general election coming up for him to backtrack on what he really believes.

I bet if Tim Farron wasn't an MP for the Liberal Democrat party, he probably would have voted against any equality for gay people. The voting demographic for the Lib Dems would never forgive him, just look at what happened after the Lib Dem lies about the tuition fees.

And don't forget in 2013 Theresa May also voted in favour of the same sex marriage Act, but of course it suits you to leave that out.

Unlike Scottish nationalists, I live in the present not the past. Tim Farron in 2017 failed to give a clear answer on whether he thought gay sex is a sin, if he was the leader of the BNP party then I wouldn't expect anything different but as the leader of the Liberal Democrats, that is seriously shocking.

Well I'm gay and I trust Theresa May far more than Tim Farron when it comes to supporting gay people. Farron failed time and time again to give a clear answer on whether he thought gay sex was a sin and he's the leader of the so-called Liberal Democrats, are you actually kidding me! I've watched several speeches from Theresa May in the past year and she has never failed to mention and include gay people when she talks about equality and aspiration.

There's been quite a lot of campaigning from the iLLiberal Democrats in the South West recently, Bath and Yeovil would definitely be good targets for them however the Tim Farron's 'gay sex is a sin' controversy will not have helped his campaign. I'm still hopeful that even if the Conservatives lose some seats to the Lib Dems here, regardless it would be replaced by taking some seats from Labour.

Theresa May doesn't need to do the debates, the British people know who they want leading the country at this tumultuous time so why should the PM waste her time with the other losers that'll be there. They can just debate amongst themselves whilst most of the UK will be finding something better to do.

You say the UK has committed "an act of economic suicide" by voting for Brexit, then why has the IMF today revised their 2017 growth forecast upwards for the UK as the second highest forecast of all the G7 countries. That doesn't look like economic suicide to me. I'm hugely optimistic about the UK economy after Brexit, thankfully we have a Conservative government looking to take advantage of these opportunities from leaving the EU and I'm looking forward to casting my vote for the Conservatives and Theresa May to make sure they see it through.

Things are NOT going to get steadily worse over the next few years, the UK will be more richer, more open, and more independent. And yes Theresa May is courageous, you're afraid that the people will get a chance to speak and will make their voice heard by giving the Conservatives a HUGE majority thus ending this nonsense of Brexit regret. I can't wait to see the liberal left become even more irrelevant in the UK, this general election has come at the perfect time and announced on this beautiful sunny day here in the south west. :cheer:
