"Nice for what" still doing incredibly well. Drake's new album should be really, really good.

Can't wait, Trump has shown that the USA is the UK's most important and loyal ally in the world, unlike weak Obama.
  3. There's a LOT of love for Ariana Grande in the UK after what happened in Manchester last year, and this is a decent pop song from her. It's going to #1 either this week or next week.
  4. Fantastic speech from Theresa May today. Now let's sit back and watch in front of the world's media the EU get confused by a simple FTA with the UK. #RoadtoBrexit
  5. You're not the one that is brainwashed.
  6. Only 405 days to go until the UK leaves the EU, can't wait for Brexit day!
  7. I was the only person on here that was 100% confident that Donald Trump was going to win the election so really I'm used to it.
  8. Even Switzerland has a bigger financial centre than any EU member country (except the UK of course), Switzerland aren't in the EU. Switzerland with a population of 8 million people have an extremely prosperous, high standard of living and yet they're not in the EU and don't ever plan to be in the future. The EU need the UK far, far, more than the UK needs them. The French people feel the same way about the EU too, that is why the French President Macron admitted recently on British television that if there was a Frexit referendum they would vote to leave too. The EU are the emperor's with no clothes. Look the EU does have its positives but to say the UK is so reliant on the EU is quite frankly a load of bull.
  9. But the UK doesn't have a good trade deal with the EU, clearly the British people felt it wasn't good enough and voted to leave. The EU NEED the UK, we are their best trade customer. The EU NEED the UK, we have the biggest financial centre in the world. The EU don't have much of a choice. The EU are full of bluster and postering, I believe the UK government are allowing them to get away with this crap because they are prioritising sealing a much better deal with them over their childish antics. Canada had to put up with this nonsense when they negotiated the CETA deal but in the end a deal happened.
  10. So what's this now, Project Fear XII. I can't wait until the UK government delivers a fantastic deal for the UK, the posturing from the EU has been ridiculous and we've got another 9 months of this nonsense.

Just seen The Police "Every Breath You Take" has been certified Gold, doesn't include its sales from the 80's so that's pretty impressive. I think the total sales would be over 800,000 now in combined sales. The song was used so well in the recent Stranger Things season.
  12. I always thought "Come Into My World" was underrated, I think it won Kylie a Grammy too. In fact the whole "Fever" era was incredible.

I'd have to say Kate Bush "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)", an epic song. Or Johnny Cash "God's Gonna Cut You Down". Eminem's "Rap God" is a bit of a guilty pleasure too.

That's a really good point about Apple Music. Drake's been very successful with them in the past.

Drake is a BOSS on streaming, hope it stabilises. "God's Plan" is a tune.
  16. Yeah "IDGAF" is a real grower, just like "New Rules" was. Wouldn't mind that at #1 at some point.
  17. Drake has killed it again with "God's Plan". Love it. Hopefully another top 10 hit.
  18. Haven't liked a Justin Timberlake song after the Futuresex/Lovesounds era (yes I didn't like "Can't Stop The Feeling") but this "Filthy" song reminds me of that era, I really like it, hopefully he's got a song coming up as good as "What Goes Around...Comes Around" too.
  19. No doubt, but since the EU are going to be our neighbours, I believe it would be better for everyone that the UK and the EU can be strong allies without the UK actually having to be in it.
  20. Well done Theresa May and David Davis. B-) The EU Commission has now agreed that sufficient progress has been made and for negotiations to move onto Phase 2, and to start trade talks and the future relationship between the UK and the EU. Even Juncker himself has said the UK WILL be leaving on 29th March 2019.
  21. Bless, people on here still believe everything they read in the papers. Thankfully most British people are much wiser and can read between the lines. Theresa May represents the people that are neither EU fanatics and want us tied to the EU no matter what and she's not the UKIP type who want to see the EU destroyed and look to Nigel Farage as their saviour.
  22. The government and in particular Theresa May are doing a fantastic job so far, when she promised that the UK would get a great deal, well so far she seems to be on track for that to happen. The EU are being incredibly awkward but I expected that because they are fighting for their interests and are trying to squeeze as much out of the UK before we are out. But time is not on the EU's side and they know that.
  23. Huh? Foreign investment into the UK is at an all-time high, unemployment is at a record low. China has openly said to the British government they can't understand why there is this doom and gloom post-Brexit when we have so many opportunities open to the UK by leaving the EU.
  24. The same economists that predicted economic armageddon and WW3 the moment the UK voted to leave the EU. The trust in economists predictions are at an all-time low, they're too politicised these days, especially the IMF. Ugh, the IMF are a disgrace.
  25. The UK economy should be doing so much better, our economic growth has been limited because our economic model has been fitted around our EU membership. Once we're out of the EU hellhole in 2019, the UK will start to soar. I'm already looking forward to the UK-US trade deal by the end of 2019 and the UK's glorious future in the 2020's.
