Charts tend to only recognise one version of a song, so if say she did a Kelly remix and the remix was out-streaming/selling the original then that versions sales would be combined with the original and the duet would be the one that got the credit on the charts. I think she should be pushing CWL more but remixing One More Sleep is something I would be against.

A remix with Kelly Clarkson would be insane, though I'd actually prefer a duet with Kelly on Mr Right to give that song a proper moment everywhere. Part of me worries if she did a remix of One More Sleep with someone like Kelly that would get all the Spotify playlisting and risk the solo version falling away, which I doubt Leona would want, that's her song and should remain so imo.

I wouldn't be so sure, she specifically said it was Christmas related a few weeks back and you don't announce new Christmas albums/music this early.

Someone said elsewhere this early of an announcement suggests shows as opposed to new music, hopefully doesn't keep us waiting too long to find out.

No, you also can climb those lists if a song performs well in other markets. She definitely needs to promote more outside of the UK but more growth in Europe will help it climb the Spotify playlists which in turn will help it gain traction in other territories.

They definitely do adjust the track positions a fair amount, at least outside the big hitters. One More Sleep's problem is it never became an international hit so always suffers on the main playlists as a result, which is a shame. It has been moved up to #51 now, so better than where it started in November #65 though down from #33 last year.

Happy One More Sleep made the Top 20 again this year even if it is only at 20. Does anyone knows its final sales tally?
