Leona just posted a behind the scenes type video on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BnRD634n2ob/ Producer is Brandon Buttner, he has worked with R Kelly, Usher, Justin TImberlake, Neyo, Timbaland, hopefully indicating more R&B sounds.

Still irks me Run never got given a proper push.
  6. Maybe before contributing with a snarky remark learn how radio works. As Pes said the plays get combined, there isn't a way to track them individually. The rise of radio play has helped the youtube views of the duet, those have been climbing steadily too. And Both tracks are selling roughly the same on iTunes. Plus even if radio were only playing the solo, its still good for Leona as the more people that discover the solo have a better chance of discovering the duet too. So Leona is definitely benefiting from it. So yes I am going to get excited when the song is doing well.

So it looks like the new music Leona has coming soon could be with a upcoming Swedish producer called Hellberg, who signed to Columbia earlier this year. He posted this on his Instagram story earlier. https://ton.twitter.com/1.1/ton/data/dm/103...t93Ky.jpg:large Which just so happens to be a lyric from this snippet Leona uploaded a couple months back. 8. YATR is now Top 30 on HAC radio at #30. For never reaching Top 40 it has done very well.

    Hope its real soon.

I don't know, A Star Is Born seems to be getting a lot of praise from within the industry and people who have seen it already, I wouldn't rule a number 1 out.
  11. Just a little HAC update, this has picked up steam a little the past week or so and has risen to #34. I still have a little hope this goes on to be a decent hit in the US.

Close between Yesterday, My Hands and Glassheart but I plumped for Glassheart as its such a big song and should have been a huge hit, damn Syco.

Nicki has just released the video for Ganja Burn and its great, so hopefully that will give her a little boost. I can see the album having decent longevity if they get it right with singles, its a fantastic album imo.

I love Spirit and I want Leona to return to a R&B sound but Echo is her best album.
  18. That was hard, I was so close to voting for Trouble as although at the time I was underwhelmed it really has grown on me to be one of my all time favourites. Anyway I ended up plumping for One More Sleep, as she really came through with one of the best Christmas songs in years and when everyone thought only the classics would return each year she really delivered with it. It would have been incredible if that reached number 1.
  19. Passed 50 million views today. ByfFurjQDb0
  20. God Is A Women song and especially video are brilliant, hope its huge.

Great climb for Only You the last couple of days.
  23. How annoying is that, the charts should reflect what people are listening too at the time even if that means older songs cropping up every so often. As for Christmas songs in the charts, I don't mind it as it reflects what people are listening too. Plus it has been exciting to see a couple of new tracks grow each year like Santa Tell Me, Underneath The Tree and One More Sleep. One More Sleep has a great peak, but it would have been nice to see Santa Tell Me and Underneath The Tree gain better positions.
  24. You Are The Reason enters at #45 on HAC radio today. 54 45 CALUM SCOTT You Are The Reason 135 86 49 0.273 I think it must be the duet that is getting most support at the minute as its been outperforming the solo on US iTunes. Duet - #171 Solo - #314
