Worst EOY chart was 1979 where some of the big sellers such as I Have A Dream and Another Brick In The Wall missed the 1979 EOY chart because the cut off point was 8th December

No chart on Friday due to EOY chart which I agree with in my opinion as this weeks chart will be full of Christmas songs and this weeks top 100 will update as usual at 5:45pm on their website

I was expecting DHFC to be higher than 10 on Spotify

On The Beach probably hasn’t done enough but Road To Hell most likely has but because of Christmas, people listening to his music will most likely be focusing on Driving Home For Christmas

I don’t think Driving Home For Christmas would get reset as it’s a Christmas song and goes against their rules of not resetting old Christmas songs. I’d like Road To Hell or On The Beach to get reset

If Kylie doesn’t get a second week at number 1, it wouldn’t me. Her getting Christmas number 1 is the main thing

FONY will most likely be played on both radio 1 and 2 tomorrow around the same time as tomorrow’s POTP is going back to 1987 where they were Christmas number 2. It will also be making a POTP appearance on 4th January when they’re going back to 2006 but I expect it to be skipped on that one

They announced sounds of the suburbs on 9th January and released it on 31st January so I expect it to be a same situation with 12" 1986 part 1 and I will have a good Christmas and same goes to you. I’m surprised their first announcement this year wasn’t on 2nd January as it was back to work day

It’s funny how they were active this week on their social media but they couldn’t be bothered to announce 12" 1986 part 1 when we usually get 12" 80s in January. I expect that to be the first announcement we get next year

I’ll be surprised if the next yearbook is 1985-1989 instead of 70s and if it is 70s, I hope it’s early 70s. Next yearbook will be 70s or 1985-1989. If anything, they’ll need to push 1985-1989 and its extra in order to continue the vaults

What makes you so sure it will be 1975? Maybe they might go with early 70s for a change seeing as we haven’t had an early 70s yearbook since May 2024. They should do the early 70s for a change rather than rush the late 70s like they did with early 80s

I know some people who prefer Wham! to Kylie but they’re supporting the latter as they’re sick of the former getting Christmas number 1 every year

As the charts tend to skip songs and the chart on 2nd January will have a few Christmas songs in there, it would make sense for them to skip the Christmas songs
