  1. May as well seeing the longer Rein Me In stays at number 1, the longer it’s gonna take for Sam Fender to have to rescind his award to Andrew Ridgeley
  2. No random resets for old songs either. The charts will be strictly new music
  3. Swap them round so the official singles charts will be sales only and the combined chart will be what the charts would look like with streaming. Removing streaming might encourage people to switch back to sales
  4. Yes and the singles chart will be sales only or if I wasn’t to remove streaming, I’d make it 1 stream per sale person rather than 10 streams per person per sale meaning if a person streams a song 10 times, only one of those streams will count
  5. At least he’s on the correct yearbook this time. This is how he should’ve been spread out across the yearbooks Forbidden Colours 1983 or extra 1983 Red Guitar 1984 The Ink In The Well extra 1984 Pulling Punches vault 1984 Taking The Veil extra 1986 Silver Moon vault 1986 Let The Happiness In vault 1987 Orpheus vault 1988 Pop Song vault 1989 Heartbeat (Tainai Kaiki II) vault 1992 Jean The Birdman vault 1993 I Surrender extra 1999 or vault 1999
  6. That’s just some rules I’d change and I’d remove streaming and create a brand new combined sales and streaming chart
  7. Scrap the compilation chart and move compilations back to the albums chart and remove Christmas songs that are over 3 years old from the singles chart
  8. Good apart from no Queen, Pet Shop Boys, Doctor & The Medics or songs from the Top Gun soundtrack. Nice to see ABC on there seeing as they chose the wrong song of theirs for vault 1985. They should’ve chose Vanity Kills for vault 1985 with Be Near Me on extra 1985
  9. It’s already on extra 1986. I expect his other Top Gun song Playing With The Boys to be on there. I also hope there’s no track repetition this time like there was on vault 1984 and vault 1985 although they got it right on the latter
  10. It will be vault 1986. I’m hoping some more Top Gun songs appear on there and I reckon the remaining vaults will go in order. As for release date, I reckon it will be 18th September which will be smack in the middle between the 1971 yearbook and extra 1971. Seeing as David Sylvian has two songs from 1986 that haven’t yet appeared, I wonder which one they’ll include on vault 1986? Taking The Veil or Silver Moon? I’ll be surprised if they don’t include him at all

Secret screenings/screamings/unlimited showings do tend to water down sales on films. I’ve cancelled bookings for films loads of times because they’ve had that film as a secret screening. I didn’t find Ice Cream Man that bad tbh. I’ve seen worse films than that

Shame Beautiful South were ignored from both 1999 yearbooks. I’m hoping we get Rotterdam on 1996 and Don’t Marry Her on extra 1996 but if we don’t, then they’re now a licensing issue

I hope Be Her can go straight into the top 30 but if not, top 40 will do

Ice Cream Man might have got higher than number 8 if its sales weren’t watered down by it being last weeks secret screaming and by only having afternoon showings of the film
  15. 1 stream per person instead of 10 streams per person
  16. Change the rules so that if a song is on SCR for a year, then move it to ACR and it will only be eligible for a reset with a 25% increase

In the highest grossing films of 2026 so far, I reckon Michael will fall to number 4 tomorrow with Spider-Man at number 1, The Odyssey at number 2 and Toy Story 5 at number 3
  18. Seeing as they include songs on both yearbook 60s and main yearbooks and Steal My Sunshine and Barber’s Adagio For Strings appeared on both 1999 yearbook and millennium 2000-2001, it makes me wonder if they’ll include any songs on both yearbook 60s volume 4 and 1970 yearbooks? In my opinion, the songs that had a 1969-1970 chart run should go on the 1970 yearbooks regardless of whether they peaked in 1969 or 1970 so there’s room for more 1969 songs on yearbook 60s volume 4

Just listened to Goin’ Down by Mel C on extra 1999 and the words bitch and whore were left on the song rather than muted. When Sexy Chick appeared on Now 74, it’s funny how the word whore was muted on there
  20. I bought my Now 124 from Asda which I always do so I can use my money off vouchers for it and Now 124 has topped the compilation chart. I doubt extra 1999 will get there next week
  21. Shame they didn’t include the full version on 12" 1987 part 1. I hope it appears on part 2
  22. If a song is unavailable to stream, it would make sense for them to include it seeing as they’re targeting the physical market and people who can’t stream the song might buy that compilation if it appears on there if they’re looking for specific songs
  23. I just had a thought. If 1996 is the next 90s yearbook, that means they’ll complete the 6s right before Halloween as it’ll most likely be released 30th October
  24. Seeing as this eras has 1996, it’s another reason why 1996 being the next yearbook will be pointless. They did such a good feeling eras just before the 1991 yearbook was released and Xpansions and Alison Limerick missed both 1991 yearbooks as a result
  25. I hope they announce vault 1986 next week
