Becky Hill & Sonny Fodera – Never Be Alone
Nice to see it back in the top 40 even if it hasn’t re-peaked and shame she won’t perform it at tonight BRITs as that would’ve helped it to gain a new peak

Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
Fingers crossed that Now 117 gets announced next week. I’ll be more annoyed if they decide to announce a pointless spin-off instead. Seeing as summer Nows have a fixed release date of every last Friday of July and autumn Nows have a fixed release date of every penultimate Friday of November, then the spring Nows should have a fixed release date of either every last Friday of March or every first Friday of April and if they are now planning to release them a week after Easter, then good luck to them releasing Now 120 next year when Easter falls on 20th April

The Official DVD Chart
Considering how well Anyone But You is doing at the cinemas, I reckon it’s gonna flop on the video chart due to it only being released on dvd when it gets released next week. It’s a bit odd that film not getting a 4k or blu ray release considering how well it’s done in the cinemas

That’s why I cancelled my pre-order late last night. I said to myself that if it ain’t been dispatched by late last night, I’m cancelling it so I did

Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
It’s odd how they seem to love including Duran Duran on the yearbooks and millennium series but they didn’t include A View To A Kill on any of the 1985 yearbooks. Hopefully it gets included on any of the 1985-1989 yearbooks

As long as both discs are filled and it gets released by the end of March and with Now 120 next year, I expect that to be released on 11th April

I have it pre-ordered on Amazon but it hasn’t been dispatched yet so I’m gonna cancel it and just get it tomorrow from HMV

I went to my local Asda today and they had Now Millennium 2004-2005 stocked up. I didn’t buy it as it was not the hardback edition so I’ll be happy to wait until tomorrow to get that one

If they don’t wanna tie the spring Nows in with Easter anymore, then they should do a fixed release date for them at the end of March
-
Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
They should have a fixed release date for Spring Nows like they do with Summer Nows and Autumn Nows and end of March is the best time for the fixed release date. Maybe they might announce it next week for 29th March. If they don’t intend on releasing it on 22nd March, then they should push the release date for Now Jukebox Classics back a week instead of having two spin-offs out on 15th March. I’d rather the releases went 4-4-4 instead of 5-3-4

Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
If they’re gonna include 2 Noah songs, there’s more chance of Northern Attitude appearing instead of Homesick and the latter will probably be saved for Now 118 and as for Nathan Dawe, they’ll probably skip Heart Still Beating in favour of We Ain’t Here For Long and if Sweet Sounds Of Heaven does appear, it will be the 5min radio edit instead of the 7min album version. Another reason why I hope they announce it today is because today is leap day and to make it a memorable one

Swearing on NOW albums
That does tend to appear every time Push It appears on a compilation. It was even left on Now Yearbook 1988 and as for the c word appearing in Happy Talk, it was also used when it appeared on Now 100 Hits Even More Forgotten 80s

Cat Janice up to #56 following her sad passing. Should go a lot higher tomorrow

Swearing on NOW albums
Maybe because it was used in a different context. Every time Tubthumping appears, they always leave the word "pissing" in

Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
More likely tomorrow as they reveal their new albums on Thursdays and the spring Nows should have a fixed release date like the summer Nows and autumn Nows instead of shuffling their release dates for the spring Nows every year. And as long as both discs are filled up with barely any gaps, I don’t mind

I wonder if I Predict A Riot climbing high is to do with it appearing on the advert for Now Millennium 2004-2005

If we get 4 of these spin-offs a year, then we could be getting 2010-2011 by the end of the year. I hope they continue with these editions even after 2008-2009

Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
It’s gotta be released on either 22nd or 29th March which is why both those dates got left blank and we have two spin-offs being released on 15th March but I hope it gets announced this Thursday and I wouldn’t mind if they go overboard with songs which missed Now 116. The disastrous sales from Now 116 might be teaching them a lesson for going overboard with the album artists. A handful of album artists is not a problem but going overboard with album artists is

If 1974 is gonna be the next yearbook, I think they’re doing it 70s, 80s, 90s, 70s, 80s, 90s and also, 1987 could be the next 80s yearbook if 1974 becomes the next 70s yearbook as I think it would more likely go 1974, 1987 than 1977, 1987. Basically, they’ve never released 2 consecutive yearbooks that end with the same digit

I thought PinkPantheress had been around since 2021 but still, she’s been around for a while and Olivia Dean’s only hit was in 2021 which was a Christmas song and RAYE has been having loads of hits since 2016

Now That's What I Call Music! Thread [Part 6]
Last years numbered Nows were announced 4 weeks prior to release date so either they might announce it on Thursday with a release date of 29th March or if they announce it on Thursday with a release date of 22nd March, then it would mean that they’re going back to announcing numbered Nows 3 weeks prior to release date. Seeing as the spin-offs are now being announced 4 weeks prior to release date, then maybe the numbered series are gonna start being announced 3 weeks prior to release date which if Now 117 gets announced on Thursday with a release date of 22nd March, then 118 and 119 will be announced on 4th July and 31st October, respectively

I don’t think he appeared on the Hits series either. I can’t believe they tend to include Duran Duran’s lesser known hits or flops on every Millennium series or yearbook series but they didn’t include A View To A Kill on any of the 1985 yearbooks. As for spring Nows, they should have a fixed release date like the summer Nows and the autumn Nows instead of shuffling the release dates round all the time. They should change it to a fixed release date of first Friday in March, summer Nows first Friday in July and autumn Nows, first Friday in November so it evens the releases out to 4-4-4 instead of 5-3-4

Out of those, Beyoncé and the Beatles will definitely be omitted due to licensing. I’ll eat my hat if any of those two appear. I hope YG Marley appears but he might not as Bob never appears same reason, licensing. Noah already has two songs which will more likely appear so his Sam collab will most likely be saved for Now 118 and same goes with Training Season. Love On has literally come out of nowhere so could be saved for Now 118 and none of the songs from Paloma’s previous album appeared on a Now. Can’t Catch Me Now might not appear due to it appearing on a film soundtrack. Same reason why Dance The Night never appeared. And as they sometimes tend to miss out on big hits, I hope they do miss out Murder On The Dancefloor due to it previously appearing on Now 51. I won’t rule out J-Lo and Jess just yet
