  1. I’ll do a prediction once Eurovision is done as there could be other songs from there charting such as the obvious UK entry and the winner
  2. Well that’s one way to refer to them as some people find the word urban offensive
  3. I don’t think Jorja Smith has a chance of appearing seeing as Little Things missed Now 115 possibly due to her being a 1xtra artist and Ravyn Lenae has a chance of appearing. I just hope we get a new number 1 by the time this is announced. It’s also a good job that David Sylvian isn’t bringing out any new music otherwise they’d include him on Now 121
  4. I know as they are licensable artists. Omitting them from the 1997 yearbooks would be criminal as that’s when they peaked
  5. Wasn’t expecting this to be #28 on Spotify considering how bad STPA did
  6. Hopefully, they include Hi Ho Silver on any of the 1985-1989 yearbooks and Forgotten Town on vault 1987. With Baby Don’t Forget My Number appearing on that album, shame it missed extra 1989. That only peaked at number 16 so it qualifies for vault 1989 which I hope they include that on too

I hope the Giver can dodge ACR. I don’t want that going to ACR before PPC
  8. Both songs peaked at number 18 and I’d have preferred if they included This One over My Brave Face as well have the latter on Now 15
  9. I’ve made a list of the hits that were omitted and have a chance of appearing across both 1985-1989 yearbooks 1985 Bruce Springsteen - Dancing In The Dark Bruce Springsteen - Born In The USA Bruce Springsteen - Glory Days UB40 - Don’t Break My Heart Dead Or Alive - In Too Deep Go West - Call Me Duran Duran - A View To A Kill Jimmy Nail - Love Don’t Live Here Anymore Jaki Graham - Round And Around Howard Jones - Life In One Day Wham! - Everything She Wants Shakin' Stevens - Breaking Up My Heart Shakin' Stevens - Lipstick, Powder And Paint Nik Kershaw - When A Heart Beats Denise LaSalle - My Toot Toot Trans-X - Living On Video Amazulu - Excitable Paul Hardcastle - Just For Money Big Sound Authority - This House (Is Where Your Love Stands) ABC - Be Near Me Mai Tai - History Mai Tai - Body And Soul 1986 Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls Pet Shop Boys - Opportunities (Let’s Make Lots Of Money) Pet Shop Boys - Suburbia Bronski Beat - Hit That Perfect Beat A-Ha - Train Of Thought Feargal Sharkey - You Little Thief Eurythmics - It’s Alright (Baby’s Coming Back) Eurythmics - The Miracle Of Love Five Star - Find The Time Hollywood Beyond - What’s The Colour Of Money Huey Lewis & The News - Stuck With You The Stranglers - Always The Sun Sophia George - Girlie Girlie Survivor - Burning Heart Ultravox - All Fall Down Jim Diamond - Hi Ho Silver Paul Hardcastle - Don’t Waste My Time Double - The Captain Of Her Heart Amazulu - Montego Bay 1987 Mental As Anything - Live It Up Freddie Mercury - The Great Pretender Five Star - Strong As Steel The Firm - Star Trekkin’ John Farnham - You’re The Voice Labi Siffre - (Something Inside) So Strong Beastie Boys - She’s On It Beastie Boys - No Sleep Till Brooklyn The Cure - Just Like Heaven Steve 'Silk' Hurley - Jack Your Body Taffy - I Love My Radio (Midnight Radio) Squeeze - Hourglass Pet Shop Boys - Rent Europe - Rock The Night Carly Simon - Coming Around Again 1988 Level 42 - Heaven In My Hands The Proclaimers - I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) Bomb The Bass - Don’t Make Me Wait Wet Wet Wet - Angel Eyes (Home & Away) Johnny Hates Jazz - Turn Back The Clock Art Of Noise featuring Tom Jones - Kiss Tiffany - I Saw Him Standing There Prefab Sprout - The King Of Rock 'N' Roll The Stranglers - All Day And All Of The Night Aswad - Give A Little Love Hothouse Flowers - Don’t Go David Lee Roth - Just Like Paradise Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistible Status Quo - Burning Bridges (On And Off And On Again) 1989 Hue & Cry - Looking For Linda Living In A Box - Blow The House Down Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning Damian - The Time Warp Natalie Cole - Miss You Like Crazy Brother Beyond - Be My Twin Kirsty MacColl - Days Stevie Nicks - Rooms On Fire Jive Bunny & The Mastermixers - Swing The Mood Bobby Brown - Every Little Step Jeff Wayne - The Eve Of The War The Reynolds Girls - I’d Rather Jack The Stone Roses - She Bangs The Drums Inner City - Ain’t Nobody Better Tone Lõc - Funky Cold Medina Texas - I Don’t Want A Lover Linda Ronstadt featuring Aaron Neville - Don’t Know Much Kaoma - Lambada Big Fun - Can’t Shake The Feeling Samantha Fox - I Only Wanna Be With You Dusty Springfield - Nothing Has Been Proved
  10. Extra 1989 due for release on 6th June and they really need to stop with the David Sylvian obsession. Either save him for the vault or don’t include him at all and Healing Hands should’ve been on 1990
  11. It might be a hit but I can’t see him knocking himself off the top. I’d love it if he did
  12. It will probably flop due to Ordinary

The songs in this trailer are Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung and Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters and their other songs Dance Hall Days and Automatic both appeared in GTA Vice City which is also set in Vice City

No chicken jockey shouting or food throwing when I watched it

I’m surprised A Complete Unknown has gone to #1 with it also being on Disney+
  16. I agree and the same treatment for a 00s one but I have a feeling if they did one, it would only include songs that appeared on the millennium series. They do need to stop milking the 70s and 80s though
  17. Surprised Movin’ On Up by Primal Scream is nowhere to be seen as it’s been appearing a lot lately and I’ve been hearing it a lot too. I’m pretty sure it’s recently been covered too
  18. I hope Ravyn can increase her streams and Ordinary needs to FOAD

Been postponed to 26th May 2026
  20. Looks like they’ve decided to announce a pointless 70s spin-off rather than announce extra 1989. Now 70s due for release on 30th May. Talk about milking it. Bit pointless doing a pointless 70s spin-off when we’re gonna have a 70s yearbook round end of June or beginning of July
  21. I hope it becomes a hit seeing as Smoke The Pain Away was a massive flop

I went to my local cex today and spotted Wolf Man there. I’m surprised someone who bought it already got rid of it
  23. I hope it can repeak and it should avoid ACR on album release week
  24. The Thompson Twins song that appears on the album is also on vault 1984
  25. The only songs I know are the Bananarama song and the Police song which was later remixed by Different Gear and appeared on Now 46
