Same here. At least Dai Dai is popular all over the world whereas Rein Me In is only popular here, Ireland and Australia

Let Sam Fender have the record for now and let Wham! overtake them in a few years time

Friday Chart Predictions
Surprised they had Sam Bailey at a 00s weekend but then again, they don’t do 10s weekends. Brass In Pocket gets played more on 80s radio stations than it does 70s radio stations and as for Mr Brightside, I’m sure Fearne would refuse to play it on her show if someone requested it

Friday Chart Predictions
Speaking of Mr Brightside, I went to a 90s weekend in Butlin’s and someone asked the DJ to play Mr Brightside and they still did. I thought that the DJ or the person must be getting their decades mixed up. Ask for it at a 00s weekend yeah but that person obviously can’t tell their 90s from their 00s

I doubt Curse Of The Wererabbit will chart as like the other aardman films, M4J. It might chart if Cineworld drop the M4J and allow everyone to watch it

Spotify down
I use professional equipment. I do love the good old turntables and streaming platforms shouldn’t be allowed for DJing. I also see some DJs using CDs
-
Sam Fender - TBA
I don’t think he’ll get another number 1 after that unless he gets Olivia Dean on his next album
-
Spotify down
Luckily, DJs like me don’t rely on Spotify. Wait until a DJ uses Spotify during a gig then the grid goes down 🤣 This is why I use physical and USB sticks for DJing. PHYSICAL FOREVER STREAMING NEVER

Poor Chicken Run missing out. It might have charted if Cineworld showed it for everyone instead of M4J

I wonder if Mr Brightside will manage another week in the top 40?

Friday Chart Predictions
I was in a bar on Saturday and the DJ played Rein Me In but no one was dancing but then the DJ played Dai Dai straight after and a fair amount of people got up and started dancing

She even failed to get her Rihanna collab in 2014 to number 1 considering Rihanna was still big back then

Now That's What I Call Music!
Or This Love by Maroon 5. Don’t understand why it appeared on the Hits when it was released by Interscope who normally licensed their tracks to Now in the 00s

As much as I can’t stand Choosin’ Texas, I’d be happy if that overtakes Rein Me In

Now That's What I Call Music!
I’ve got a list of 70s hits that missed the released yearbooks. Feel free to contribute Elton John - Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting Elton John - Step Into Christmas The Police - Can’t Stand Losing You The Police - Roxanne The Beach Boys - Lady Lynda Rickie Lee Jones - Chuck E’s In Love Deep Purple - Smoke On The Water Village People - Go West Slade - Bangin’ Man T Rex - Children Of The Revolution

Now That's What I Call Music!
They missed out two of The Police’s songs; Can’t Stand Losing You and Roxanne and a few other 70s hits are missing

Now That's What I Call Music!
They meant the final chapters only. They’re saying that there won’t be a 1970-1974 and 1975-1979 plus their extras
-
Now That's What I Call Music!
Someone commented on the Now Facebook page that they have a friend who works for EMI and told them that they don’t have plans to do final chapters and extras for the 70s but they are for the 90s. Bit odd. I was expecting it the other way round even though I prefer 90s to 70s
