War over Solo songs at tour...
I've love them to sing solo songs, especially Geri, Victoria and Emma. Maybe Victoria is moaning about it because she'd have to carry a song on her own, live. Geri will probably get her own way anyway, like she always does.

Sophie talks about what songs she listens to when unhappy
Yeah I watched this. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound... why ask this question to her at this stage in her career. Bit heartless.

The new album to be called "Best of"
Yeah but just because she knows it doesn't mean it will be :P We should be hearing some news on this soon anyway, like a title or something like that.

Mariah to be on X Factor?
Well I can only see Westlife being the only non ex-X Factor contestants to appear from that list unfortunatley. Leona and Shayne will probably pop up and possibly Kylie would. The others I'd say aren't gonna appear, hope I'm wrong though.

The Emancipation of Mimi - Best Vocals?
From the non-singles off TEOM, which do you think is Mariah's best vocal performance? I mean, if I included the singles I'm pretty much sure We Belong Together or Don't Forget About Us would win.. maybe rightly so. Out of the ones I've listed, which do you think shows off Mariah's vocals the best? I know Fly Like A Bird and Mine Again were kinda singles, but not proper ones that's why I've included them. For me it's a toss up between Mine Again and Stay The Night, I went with the latter though.

Mariah to be on X Factor?
Singing legend Michael Jackson is to star on The X Factor, we can reveal. He has agreed to be a mentor for the show broadcast on December 1. It is a huge coup both for the talent search show and ITV. Celine Dion, Rihanna, Kylie, Shayne Ward, Leona Lewis, Westlife and Mariah Carey have also agreed to appear. They will spend several days with the finalists - helping them prepare their songs and fine-tune their voices. They will also perform one of their own songs. Judges Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne have all done their bit to persuade stars to appear. Dannii has got big sister Kylie to be on the final show. The live programmes kick off on October 20 with Leona Lewis. The source said: "There has been some top-level negotiating here. Everyone is absolutely delighted. "The contestants are better, the judging panel is bigger and better, so the celebrity guests had to be. This is going to be the best show on TV." http://www.mariahdaily.com/news.shtml What do we think of this then? I know she's been rumoured before and it never materialised. I'm happy about it if it's true though, of course. She was a great mentor on Fame Academy.

I GOT TICKETS WOOO
I thought it would work from 1 to whatever from left to right (facing the stage) but at the NIA in Birmingham seat numbers 1, 2, 3 etc. are closest to the centre. I hope that helps somewhat.

Some official news...
Great news. Finally a release date and some news on who she's working with, we knew about Calvin Harris but I'm glad she's working with Cathy Dennis again (Catch You). And it's great to know all of her singles will be included, hopefully it means Groovejet, too. I'm kinda confused about the fact it says "a new single will FOLLOW the greatest hits on November 19th"... does that mean the single is being released after the GH? Oh well, at least we know we've got at least 2 new songs.

Some official news...
OFFICE BLOG Fascination Weekly Blog & News Sophie's Greatest Hits - it's official! Things have changed a bit since SEB released her first single with The Audience - 10, yes that's 10 (10!) years ago. We've waved ta-ta to Top Of The Pops, everybody started wearing jeans that are too small and people now sit in darkness in the name of energy efficiency. To celebrate Sophie's consistency in these times of change we are preparing for the release of her Greatest Hits album which will feature all of her singles plus some very special newies. Sophie's been working with Calvin Harris and Cathy Dennis (amongst others) on new material - a new single will follow the Greatest Hits on November 19! Until that time dear 'blog' reader, take a refresher course in some of our favourite Sophie EB moments: - The red hair/massive headphones combo in Music Gets The Best Of Me. If someone held her red hair and massive headphones with a gun, we have no idea which we'd make number one. - The boot stomp in Murder On The Dancefloor. Obviously. - Get Over You on TOTP. The wedding cake was a classic. Remind yourself by consulting You Tube immediately. - All of that mental cup-shifting in the Catch You video. If she came round for dinner, we would buy in some plastic cutlery. - The spoken word in Mixed Up World. It’s nice to know that when Sophie isn't harassing crockery, she can find the time to make us feel a bit better about 'stuff'.

The new album to be called "Best of"
I have both of those if you want them? I think that'd be a great idea myself because Sophie has got a lot of b-sides, practically every single has had one.
