    well hello there. what's up?
  10. Source: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a69644/b...london-gig.html Britney Spears is planning to perform at a secret gig in London for a small number of fans next month. The troubled singer is flying out to the UK for time away from her family members, who have become concerned about her recent behaviour. She has rarely been out of the press over the past ten days; making headlines for her disastrous OK! photoshoot, breaking down in tears while filming her new music video, and allegedly threatening a paparazzi photographer. Spears plans to stay at the Covent Garden Hotel - and insiders have claimed that she will check in under the name of Marilyn Monroe. A source told the Daily Star: "Britney can't wait to spend some time away in London and away from family members who have been fussing about her. And she would love to lay on a secret gig for around 60 fans." Wow. How amazing if it's true
  11. Source: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/a69658...-posh-feud.html Sophie Ellis-Bextor has insisted that rumours of a feud between herself and Victoria Beckham were "silly". The Catch You singer was portrayed in the media as a rival of Posh when they fought a chart battle seven years ago. Her debut single Groovejet (If This Ain't Love) reached number one when it went head-to-head with Beckham's first solo song Out Of Your Mind in 2000. "It was very silly. Luckily, Victoria and I weren't actually saying anything nasty about each other," Sophie told Hot Stars magazine. Asked about the Spice Girls reunion, Sophie added: "I think they're going to have fun. They are pretty media savvy so I think they are going to go into it in a very knowing way."
  12. Hahahaha, I bet she was pushed. Can't wait for her solo career

  14. I absolutley love BOTD and I think it's probably Jamelia's 2nd or 3rd best song. Critical acclaim however, does not always transcend into public popularity.
  15. I knew you'd bring Sophie into it because you know I like her and her and Jamelia are sort of in the same position (or have been) That info about the album just confirms what I thought, it really is nothing in comparison to Thank You. She didn't even make top 20 :(

It reminds me of She Will Be Loved & Rag Doll And what's happened to you posting in the Sophie forum?!
  17. I knew you was going to bring Sophie into it. I don't know much about single sales, but that's not really that much for a lead single is it? How did her album do?
  18. Kieran posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Do you think they are like them? Especially 'Iris' I think.
  19. No More was just a weak single. I know the Christmas market is competitive, popular artists do well, Jamelia scraped top 10 so the increased sales at Christmas time should have allowed her to get higher, if she was still popular of course ;) Oh, and SAY didn't really do that great as a lead single. It got to #9?
  20. Why can you not? :( I'm going to the Birmingham date :cheer:
