So the album is back up to #9 this week! With some of the festive releases disappearing over the next few weeks, I guess this should be safe for a few more weeks in the top 10?

So I think they're on 51.900 copies of Between Us (album) after three weeks. Do we think this has a chance to go gold this year?

I really like Salute but to me the other five make the obvious Top 5 here! So, bye Salute!

This is the first round I voted in - I voted Wings. I like when they perform it live and I appreciate it as their first proper single, but I don't really seek it out to listen to...

Does anyone know how this is doing on Spotify at the moment? I don't know how to track songs that aren't in the artist top 10...

A Top 2 with Kylie and Little Mix would be fantastic for women of pop regardless of who will come out on top, and a top 2 of my two favorite currently active acts would look amazing.

I absolutely agree that they need to shake things up a bit. Not just because they are big enough to be taking risks at this point, more so because they really just should. They are still eager and focused and I would love for them to be the girl group that completely outgrows guilty pleasure status to create something properly cool (on their fifth (!) album). Touch was a step in the right direction, but on Glory Days (even though I love it) there is still a lack of focus or direction.

I also think (or probably hope!) that the plan is to make Touch a long running single. It is a good song for that strategy, I don't think people will bore of it quickly. It may still end up as a big seller in the end, which may also benefit the album more than having a concise impact period. BUT GIVE US THE VIDEO ANYWAY.

Little Mix will be interviewed on Dutch talk show RTL Late Night tomorrow. Apparently they'll also perform Black Magic and Hair.

They can go with any style, but I would really like a focused, cohesive, thought out effort from them next. I know they have it in them and I feel like it would cement their status.

I bought Fifth Harmony's Worth It when I was in Germany last year, I was shocked to find it.

I love reading this countdown/chart. It's very interesting to see which artists keep selling and which only work in a specific period/context. I was also reminded that Born This Way (the Gaga album) in fact did quite well which relativizes its "flop" image. (I know my introduction should go in the New Members thread but after years and years of looking on here I actually decided to register to say thank you to all of you who take the time to create these lists, charts, countdowns and reports again and again!)
