Let the battle of the Sound Systems commence! I'm being bold and predicting a debut winner for the competition. So anyone who's won already you can leave now if you want to spare your blushes! How about a first song contest win for @Herbs for a change.

Juranamo's votes changed EVERYTHING! Also I voted earlier on too and thank you to Julian for your willingness to extend.

Don't you worry faithful Bop Idolists... I shall be voting for some of your entries to give them a needed boost before I sabotage my own. I've already begun rankings anyway.

Congrats Addy, and thanks DaTilt. Have I missed the semi spreadsheets somewhere?

@Harve thank you very much for much for your highest points!

Jakissnia Jadekissnia Jadakissnia I don't know who's going to win!

Cross Zanmatony off your list, their votes are in!

7 for @777666jason and any even number for @Spiceboy . (You're welcome 😉)

There is definitely a TITANE to look out for. I'm here for it winning tbh.

I will be voting in BJSC first, left that a bit late unfortunately, so getting that done first.

Number Twenty!

Only as few days left of the month now before this poll will close, let's have more votes please!

Probably a song to celebrate his Villa team winning the Europa league last week!

And look how well that did for us last time! Maybe ask the good Doctor now he's not in the final if we can use one of his famous Cumulonimbian videos of yesteryear.

Listenthrough plans? I'd like to join this one.

BJSC 185 Entry (May 2026) Host City: Aeralynth, Zephyra Continuum ============================== Artist: Way Out West Song: Sequoia Origin: 🇬🇧 United Kingdom Way Out West is a British electronic music duo formed in 1994 by producers Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren. Known for blending progressive house, trance, breakbeat, and ambient sounds, the group became a major force in the global dance music scene during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their self-titled debut album featured the acclaimed track The Gift, while later releases such as Intensify and Don’t Look Now helped define the melodic progressive sound of the era. Renowned for atmospheric productions and emotionally driven live DJ sets, Way Out West remains highly influential in electronic music and continues to tour and release new material. Sequoia is a lush, atmospheric journey that captures the duo’s signature blend of progressive house and trance. Released during the golden era of late-90s electronic music, the track unfolds slowly and evolves into a cinematic sense of space. Later than planned, here is a belated writeup following Zanmatony's non-qualification during BJSC 184. Unfortunately, votes were not cast by the Zanmatonese delegation in their respective semi final, and as such a penalty was applied to the scores. This however did not change the ultimate outcome, as the entry still would not have achieved enough points to progress. No Semi Final votes were cast for BJSC 184. However, here are the votes cast in the Final; +18 Charlotte MacInnes – Struck {Zephyra Continuum} [1st] +15 Leprous – The Flood {The Spodic Empire} [22nd] +13 KOMPROMAT feat. Vimala Pons & Sonia DeVille – I LET MYSELF GO BLIND {Ennea} [6th] +12 Fort Romeau – U R My Love {Skall} [29th] +11 Ignez – Lunfardo {Kathaldazia} [18th] +10 Wasia Project – 2515 {Fljótavík} [34th] +9 Tsu Nami – Perfume {Aeroche} [15th] +8 Pegassi – MOAA {Freidland} [31st] +7 Michael Medrano – DANSE {Kluminican Republic} [12th] +6 KHOIBA – HOW THE EYE {Deandria} [37th] +5 Goochems – barrel of soil {Pestolia} [26th] +4 Brigitte Calls Me Baby – Slumber Party {Utopia} [17th] +3 Internet Islands – Kelpie {Dalisska} [39th] +2 Hanna Ferm & Junie – Välkommen Åter {République d'Áskorza} [24th] +1 Polo & Pan – Nanã {Baleghde} [40th] Despite our own failure to vote in the semi final, Zanmatony did give the eventual winner their maximum points in the final, and were delighted to see Zephyra Continuum crowned the latest debutant winner of the BuzzJack Song Contest. These votes ensured that no ban was applied to Zanmatony for the following contest.

+12 QUALIFIED +10 QUALIFIED +8 QUALIFIED +7 QUALIFIED +6 QUALIFIED +5 QUALIFIED +4 QUALIFIED +3 QUALIFIED +2 QUALIFIED +1 Jacob Alon – Don't Fall Asleep [Cumulonimbia] Persephonia would have been next in line for me, followed shortly by FSR Rontvia. Hopefully the end to the Rontvian exile from a BJSC final will come next time. Zanmatony thanks everyone who voted for us to get Sequoia into the BJSC 185 final, and start a new qualification streak (hopefully).

Whilst we are waiting... what does N DNTN actually stand for? After all these years I want to finally know the answer.

Zanmatony are on the case.
