The longest qualification streak in Zanmatony's history came to an end this month, as after 10 consecutive qualifiers, we bowed out at the semi-final stage with a loud piece of energetic, electronic music together with a custom made music video to go with it. As with many of Zanmatony's entries, it was an experiment, and this time it didn't connect with as many people. These were the votes cast for the Semi Final of BJSC 183; +12 World's First Cinema – First Cinema {Ennea} [DID NOT QUALIFY] +10 Ziyad Al-Samman – Ziyad Al {FSR Rontvia} [QUALIFIED] +8 Cult Of Venus – Sinner {Bronzil} [QUALIFIED] +7 Neuroticfish – We Are {Deandria} [QUALIFIED] +6 Nekrogoblikon feat. Reel Big Fish – Secret Elephant {Wholune} [DID NOT QUALIFY] +5 The Walkmen – The Walkmen {Terra Avium} [QUALIFIED] +4 NEW YORK – think of you {Scotland 2} [QUALIFIED] +3 ena mori – 19 Underground {Cor Lupus} [QUALIFIED] +2 ili – Tears Ago {Freidland} [QUALIFIED] +1 Art School Girlfriend – L.Y.A.T.T. {N DNTN} [QUALIFIED] These were the votes cast for the Final of BJSC 183; +18 Ziyad Al-Samman – Ya Habibi {FSR Rontvia} [16th] +15 Cult Of Venus – Sinner {Bronzil} [18th] +13 Neuroticfish – We Are Not Safe {Deandria} [34th] +12 Izzy Camina & Angrybaby – Seven Seas {Summericia} [39th] +11 Art School Girlfriend – L.Y.A.T.T. {N DNTN} [37th] +10 Two Shell – The Nightmare {Skall} [9th] +9 Hayato Sumino – frostline {Greenfroze} [6th] +8 Searows – Dearly Missed {Persephonia} [11th] +7 HALLOWS – Catalyst {The Spodic Empire} [27th] +6 ili – Tears Ago {Freidland} [30th] +5 Honey Dijon feat. Bree Runway – Slight Werk [Club Mix] {Kluminican Republic} [33rd] +4 KREZUS & Surreal_dvd – Skins {Aeroche} [25th] +3 sim0ne – freaky {FARC} [31st] +2 frutiger dillon – big chemistry ♡ {Neliönoir} [4th] +1 The Warning – Kerosene {Séyetana} [17th] On a rare occasion for recent contests, Zanmatony did not point the eventual winner, which in fact won by a significant distance. In fact, none of the podium finishers appeared in our votes this time around. With no qualification streak to uphold, the stage is set for a comeback to edge closer to a place in a BJSC final again.

Another very close one at the bottom.

Well done both for bringing many cool songs to this competition.

@ElectroBoy time to update your chart.

Jimmy Jam must have slippery fingers trying to type out his answers, I think what he meant to say was the other option.

I hope at least two of your colleagues do as well or Captain Eye Sack will be 50% responsible for another deadlock!

Oh my.

Oh wow so two female made it and we haven't even got to Kelly yet! 😮

The kittens have grown to be cats prowling the arena! I couldn't possibly call their next entry.

I was thinking maybe red blood cells before with the blurred image!

Who's feeling anxious? React with if so.

Is this another case of Rob's late votes changed the outcome for one unfortunate artist... (Mind you I see that Bror is equally to blame for whatever comes next).

Anyone got the odds on another deadlock this week? I might place a bet.

Prayer circle for... Whoever I put in first place.
