  1. I think this season, compared with last season, is a much fiercer monster. The talent on display is insane and almost every finalist deserves to go all the way with what they have brought so far. Not to disrespect any artist sent last season, but it was a much smaller number to start with plus those who took part were experimenting with a new concept. I can't see next season being as tough as this one was. So many huge names were all sent at the same time and that ended in disaster for so many.
  2. Runaway would have been a big scorer for me I think. Maybe Radio also.
  3. Please come back again next season to participate again! Have loved being reminded of The Corrs music each week, especially some of the lesser known ones.

I don't know but I found the whole final very underwhelming this year. I didn't really feel I was invested in anyone for the journeys they had been on to get here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  6. Gutted for Nelly, I wanted to see so much more from her, but kudos to Scissor sisters for managing to get through with all them low scores, it must have been very close.
  7. She's My Maneater to stay.
  8. Can't really see Nelly falling out at this point when she has so much left to give. I guess it's time to cut the sisters loose.
  9. Atomic Kitten doing far better than I even imagine they would when I first saw their names revealed in this year's event! Kudos to their mentor for getting this far!
  10. You'll be hoping the stationary sisters are safe but it seems like it was a risk.
  11. Super entry by ABBA.
  12. Not many song choices left for Chappell to send now. Another bop next please.
  13. Wishing all the best to the finalists!
  14. Scene sending an SOS to RobBot on the final hour.
  15. Suddenly someone is getting quite uncomfortable. I guess this means a big dropoff of voters who lost out in the last round who don't care anymore sadly.
  16. I disagree with this. If you're new to music collecting, maybe just starting out your physical collection, you might only want to have a few songs because your friends like them or played them in the car on the way somewhere. If a compilation album offers that song and that's the only song they are interested by that artist, along with a few other tracks on that compilation, it might seem like a cheaper option than buying one or two artist albums for a limited number of songs you would already know and like. More seasoned collectors may not care much, and those are the main audience for physical music, but everyone who ever collected physical music had to start somewhere. For me, it was with Now cassettes and later CDs. I'm not sure "first album you bought" would quickly come to a new collector who lives on streaming platforms mainly. But in order for the physical music industry to survive something does need to change to keep people invested.
  17. Won't be much longer as we all surely expect by this point.

@Steve201 I don't know if this was previously mentioned but is this the first England squad/camp to not have any Liverpool players? I thought Curtis Jones was in the setup last time, has he fallen out of favour? I can't immediately call to mind any other English players presently in the Liverpool team since Trent left last Summer.
  19. Spare yourself the wondering, there's nothing to overthink. Just accept what it is, albeit not a great finished product, and then move on to the next one due in three months time. Alternatively, what's one track on Now 123 that you're especially pleased to see included? For me, I'd say it's the underperforming dance section, specifically MK (following his first ever #1 single) and vocalist of the moment Clementine Douglas. It's good to see this one included despite not charting well.
  20. The way I see it, that's precisely what @HiyaLuv! was talking about! There never used to be album tracks and the way they appear it feels more of filler than the actual singles by other artists which failed to chart. I mean, it just seems very cheap to include album tracks from Olivia and Lewis especially when they each have their actual pushed singles included. I personally don't want to be making future tracklisting predictions based upon album tracks that performed well in the charts and weren't intended to be pushed as singles.

@Jack any chance of a late TOTW so we can send this banger through to the EOY poll? No worries if not.
