  1. Either way, I've already decided on my next artist for The Pop Factor 3, so hands off everyone!
  2. Zanmatony are here and deciding what to award Herbilore...
  3. Gosh even when you're not playing BJSC you're the king of reconfirms! 🤭
  4. Don't worry Herbs, Dido will appear next year if @T Boy remembers to enter! He could always bring Anastacia as a backup too!
  5. Sabrina has an artist forum...
  6. What a parade of names, this is just too overwhelming.
  7. awardiscary posted a post in a topic in Forum News and Help
Pleased to see Mattias back as my replacement, it's very fitting!
  8. Flippin heck. This is insane. Any repeat series in the future will pale in comparison with this one!
  9. Try saying that when you're on the outside looking in! 🫣 I do think an effort should be made to include as many participants as possible but you must admit that's one of the fastest times for an event to fill up completely on BuzzJack. Edit: Also I'm pretty sure @vibe was a semi-finalist last time and so they deserve to feature again after a stellar performance.
  10. There could be more slots opened up but then increase the eliminations per round? Not that I'm a fan of that but if it means keeping to a schedule...
  11. dandy, Chez and vibe all begging to be part of the most hotly anticipated event on BuzzJack! I didn't know it would fill this fast either but I think I got in there on time.
  12. Surely it's 36 if it's three categories of 12?
  13. My votes have gone to A*Teens, Appleton and Rogue Traders. @LiamSime I added your BJSC entry to the list as I enjoyed it, I hope that's ok! 🙂
  14. Hello from myself, @Mangø and @Paddington James Following the same structure used successfully in various genre forums, we are going to run a monthly poll for new contemporary music releases in 2026. Each month, 20 new releases are selected to go head to head, with three winners which will then go up against future monthly winners at the end of the year to determine the ultimate winner of 2026. Each week, choose up to ***THREE*** songs only that you feel are your favourite from the selection of releases that month. If you wish to post a rate of the selection of songs in the thread, please feel free to do so. Here are January's contenders: A*Teens – Iconic Agnes – WAKE UP Appleton – Falling Into You Bryan Adams – Charlie The Wonderdog CHVRCHES – Addicted To Love Connie Talbot – Original Culture Club – Letting Things Go Elvis Presley vs Jamieson Shaw – Wearin' That Night Life Look Embrace – Road To Nowhere Gabrielle Aplin – Start Again Jack Savoretti – We Will Always Be The Way We Were Jessie Ware – I Could Get Used To This JP Cooper feat. Gabrielle – Sad Song Kula Shaker – Lucky Number Matt Cardle – Fading Lights Melanie C – What Could Possibly Go Wrong? Nathan Evans with SAINT PHNX – Happy Place Peter Andre – Rock U Right Robbie Williams – All My Life Rogue Traders – Take You Down Stephen Sanchez – SWEET LOVE Zak Abel – Hallelujah Results of this month's poll will be revealed in next month's thread. 15. I'm in. Ellie Goulding was my artist last year... will I be in the same category for this year...
  16. Every AI prediction keeps stating that Zanmatony's choices are too safe... 🫣
  17. Can @diva thin muffin use his special algorithm to combine all the predictions to make one supercomputer prediction!
  18. How frequently does Hushkanukkia get overhyped?
  19. Apparently you're all sleeping on the winner... @J00prstar
  20. Hey @Calum would you accept this addition for this week at all? Edit... And... being cheeky I know, but there is a thread for this pop song too;
  21. I came here seeking big energy when I saw that metal was on the menu, so here's my thoughts after listening to all three in full... 𝔗𝔯𝔦𝔭𝔱𝔶𝔨𝔬𝔫 - 𝔄𝔲𝔯𝔬𝔯𝔞𝔢 This may start slow, but it builds into something by the midway point. For me at least, It's not the best example of the genre to showcase, and I'd look for something maybe with more tempo or varied vocals which this didn't have. That said, it may have an audience in BJSC but I would expect only a minority. ℌ𝔞𝔩𝔩𝔞𝔰 - 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔄𝔰𝔱𝔯𝔞𝔩 𝔖𝔢𝔢𝔯 A live version of a song is always a risk, so the performance needs to be quite striking if it is used. This had much more energy that I was expecting from a metal song. I like the vocals much more in this one plus a much better use of guitars. The visuals are great too. Love the change up from 4:37 too! 𝔍𝔢𝔩𝔲𝔰𝔦𝔠𝔨 - 𝔇𝔦𝔢𝔡 I think for me this was my favourite. I live for the chaos which is on display here from the start. Big energy is a must. It's very Metallica and that must be a good thing! I think this is the one out of the three I would give more points to. I can see it getting some fans in this contest for sure. I hope some of that input was helpful and I hope others add comments too!
