  1. tbf this has probably been the strongest album campaign strategically. sales wise, musically and performance wise since the Sugababes and even then, they're probably better because their chemistry is REAL. They fully deserved the XF win. Hope the success continues onto their next record.
  2. I think this is a smart move, hopefully it'll fill the void before the release of her second album whilst hopefully allowing Australia to connect to her more as an artist.

  4. yes at Kim Chi, Thorgy, Chi Chi, Trinity, Pearl, Trixie & Shangela. Happy to see them in the higher regions of he rates.
  5. Tatianna is the worst I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE HYPE she's terrible whereas Ivy Winters is Drag Queen Gold dust - so loveable, how can anyone NOT adore her omg
  6. probably my favourite album of all time with The Family Jewels a close second
  7. I want to see her as a raging alcoholic who lives in a trailer and never washes and get's murdered by a herd of cannibals. Just off the top of my head...
  8. That's a strong 9 track album here when you make it through all the duds.
  9. why are her visuals so weak when the audio is so strong? seriously she has the best vocals why not accompany it with an equally stunning visual? the Rolling in the Deep, Hometown Glory, Chasing Pavements, Cold Shoulder and Hello videos are all in their own right either cinematic or iconic (coff coff flip phone) and then for the remainder of her singles, she either doesn't have a video (Skyfall, When We Were Young, Rumour Has It etc.) to go with the song or when she does it seems half-hearted e.g. Someone Like You, Send My Love. I don't know, wish her team would pick up on this. I mean I get she's on tour but it's becoming a running theme which is a bit of a joke when she releases an album every 5/6 years? Also this is probably my favourite Adele song since A Million Years Ago which I first heard when 25 came out, happy it's achieved a top 40 placing. Hope it climbs further!
  10. I like both versions :P ...I mean songs. I do like some of Madonna's music (especially Ray of Light & Rebel Heart) but Gaga is and always will be my number one. That being said, I do think Born This Way takes influence from Express Yourself and that isn't necessarily a bad thing? Clearly Madonna was somebody Gaga looked up to alongside Prince and Bowie as mentioned in the Fame CD Booklet credits, so if anything the similarity is compliment.
  11. Born This Way although incredibly similar to Express Yourself, is the stronger track to me
  12. Lovely to see two girlbands in the Album top 10 whilst Hair still holds on!
  13. HOPEFULLY LG5 COMES BEFORE THE NEXT JAZZ ALBUM ALTHOUGH TWO ALBUMS IN ONE YEAR WOULD BE GREAT

Giving it endless listens and this is certainly more cohesive and stronger as a whole than their debut, much more mature although the production overrides the lyrical quality in a lot of places. -That's My Girl, Work From Home, I Lied and No Way are all 8+/10 and it's understandable to see why the first two were/are soon to be made singles. -All in My Head (Flex), Scared of Happy, The Life, Write on Me and Squeeze are all minor highlights and have a deserved place on the album as strong girlband album tracks -Whilst the majority of the album works, it does bare very weak tracks: Not That Kinda Girl, Dope and Gonna Get Better along with the Worth It (No Rap) bonus track which adds nothing really, standing out marginally from the rest of the album. Big Bad Wolf and 1000 Hands could have easily taken their places although GGB is becoming better with each listen, so it's possibly a slow-builder. Ideal Singles Run: 1. Work From Home 2. All in My Head (Flex) 3. That's My Girl 4. I Lied 5. Scared of Happy
  15. I got Violet Chatchki which I wouldn't except as I feel I relate more to Sharon/Jinx "People are blown away by your beauty, and although they might think you're one of the shadiest queens, when they get to know you they see you're a ray of light. You form a few close friendships rather than ones with big groups, and work hard for what you want in life."
  16. Raven was the real winner of season 2. Tyra was just background noise ...quite literally, her singing Halo in the workroom still gives me nightmares.

  20. That's My Girl's video has been shot months ago but I reckon they're saving it for post-album release to shift album copies + waiting until WFH dies down internationally and just releasing Flex in America (which I hope they don't, I'd rather they release all singles internationally). The studio version is so much better than the live version.
