Sounds very Madness but possibly with more build- I loved the final minute or so! If this is any indication the new album could be more like The 2nd Law again but who knows, hoping to see a bit more of something different but new Muse is new Muse. :wub:

I have 18 artists over 1000 plays with one at over 7000, four with 3000+ and three with 2000+. Aw I had that issue at the time- there is a fix for it but you have to download a specific file and put it in a specific folder so it's a pain to do it the first place- once you've done it tho you're good to go. I guess you've moved onto Spotify anyway though?

I'll take 8 woots considering I wasn't even there! Not that they're necessarily an indication of anything significant (a woot could be a commiseration, one point or eighteen) but it does help a bit.

^I'll sadly miss it because I'm out (for once :o ) but enjoy! I like plugging for BJSC though so I might do a second session for anyone else who can't make it on Thursday or something if there's enough interest.

First Doctor Who episode that has genuinely slightly scared me in a long time, the opening scene particularly! Really enjoyed it, this entire series has felt so much more like RTD Who and I love it. My one quibble was how come And how?

Some people did though, twat, douche, whatever. No, don't put words in my mouth, this isn't about that, it's about individualistic taste, not stereotypes. Idk who every single person liked but imagine if Loreen said that a few years ago (great winner :wub: ), or even last year's winner. Sorry if I've offended anyone, this isn't worth falling out over (my entire point was I didn't understand the extreme reaction) and I'm not looking for an argument. I just thought focusing on a throwaway speech was a bit melodramatic.

Not a reach- "fireworks" obviously refers to big flashy performances and he talked about it being a victory for "music with meaning", so what I said just naturally follows as his performance was low key in terms of stage production so the entire focus was on him and the song. I'm not even saying what he said was fair or correct but it doesn't make him a twat or an undeserving winner. It's just down to taste when it comes to the song itself and I can't help but feel that if it were a winner whose performance was more well liked here they'd be given a free pass for an offhand comment after winning the Eurovision Song Contest.

Can we just remember English is (at least) his 2nd language, he must have been in shock after winning and he was just expressing how happy he was that people connected with a song he was so passionate about, he wasn't slagging off any other specific song, he was commenting that his preference wasn't big staging and he preferred the focus to be solely on the music and the meaning behind it. A bit unnecessary maybe but hardly worthy of public outrage. Lovely song as well, not my first choice for a winner but reminded me of music from disney films, really enjoyed it.

The sound remind me of Disney soundtracks yes! Especially ones set in 19th/ 20th century like that one and Aristocats.
