  1. So much support and just out! :nocheer: Glad so many people liked it, I've been 1 position off from qualifying before but not sure if I've been 1 point away before. Big F. At least a fair few good ones got through. x
  2. Omg nooo I scanned through the spreadsheet and must have missed when I was compiling the list but I did read all the results! Yes Harmonica too, thanks so much! xx
  3. It's been a long week so I haven't got round to posting here but I did read through- thanks so much for all the points from everyone for Holding Absence, especially the medal positions from Dobago, Flynnonda, Niceland, Persephonia (I loved your commentary Bré- stormer of a track  ), Séyetana, Wholune and the 12 from Danæviia! I honestly didn't expect it to do as well as 14th, I think (??) that's an unique position for me as well. It is an absolute banger so I'm glad it resonated with as many of you as it did. Stevie Nicks will always be a deserving winner so congrats on your Anniversary win Jupiter! Terra Avium at 17th as well is a good result too. #rockbloc Thanks to NocheLuna for a great contest.

Great to see The Midnight again, new songs since I last saw them. Solid sax playing as ever, great vocals- such a good band. Goose were great support, heard a few things from them before. MCR live... omg. Incredible. Felt like I waited over a decade to hear Welcome To The Black Parade like that. As for supports, was also fun to suddenly hear a BJSC song from Charlotte Sands  and I knew a couple Placebo songs so that was super cool. Starcrawler also sounded pretty good despite not knowing them beforehand.
  8. Aw that's a shame. Sorry to lose Rolloland, Eastovka and Séyetana too but some great ones are through.
  9. I'll join if I can. x
  10. A bit last min but here's the Apple Music playlist!
  11. Aw thought it might be borderline, was hoping the slight Sleigh Bells vibe might have carried this one through. Could have done with (maybe) countries like Séyetana, Jadakissnia or Taahino in my semi for this one but I thought I had a fairly decent semi draw. Would have loved to smash through to the final this time. :(

I actually couldn't find it on YouTube- it was on YouTube music, Spotify, Apple Music etc and I submitted a Soundcloud one but it was strangely difficult to find a studio version - even an auto generated video. Thanks for this.

Apple Music equivalents: As with Spotify: SF1 missing Quintessa SF2 missing Trifoski
  14. Apple Music playlist again, also missing Zanmatony.
  15. For Apple Music people, I've converted Dan's Spotify playlists!
  16. Dead Of Night (feat. Linnea Olsson) - Daniel Olsén & Jonathan Eng Wolves rarrr! XhfcUAs3W4M Absolutely obsessed with the soundtrack to Sayonara Wild Hearts- which is a game all about the music. There's a pop album written for the game (which is essentially a rhythm game with a sweet lil story) and it has several bangers that go OFF. There were a couple others I considered entering but didn't because they were less than 2 minutes, or a medley I considered entering but without context might not have worked so well. Dead Of Night is such a tune and with the visuals alongside it is absolutely incredible. Would definitely recommend playing the game, approx 2 - 3 hours playtime I'd guess, very replayable. As soon as I finished playing I added this to my library and have been listening to it a fair bit, only discovered this on Friday! Perfect timing for this contest.
  17. F on And One missing out here, I did mean to vote but I missed it this time sadly. Good to see them get this far mind, despite the deduction!

  19. Was top 10 for a little while! There was an 11 country long drought and only 4 points in the last 14 voters so reading through I was just watching it slowly drop. :nocheer: That said, three 18s!!!1!! Thank you Bré, Jade, Chez for those and Doctor Blind for the 15, as well as all the other significant points. Picked up most of the points from fewer mid to high points (at least in the first half) rather than more trickle points, so a few big fans which is always nice to see. A decent midway position too. Congrats to Lookylion! Always good to see a new winner, got to admit I didn't see it coming but it was in my commiserations, good song. Addy, I said in the PM but hosting has been incredible, above ( :kink: ) and beyond! 🛫🛫🛫🛫🛫
  20. I'm in. :o
  21. Thanks to Jade for hosting, you did a fab job! Sorry to have missed this live. Thanks for all the points, it's good to be back in the top 20! 16th matches the result for "Kyra" all the way back in BJSC 130, other than that my most recent top 20 is 19th with "Alive" in BJSC 132. Really happy "Military Fashion Show" struck a chord with so many of you with the weird funkytown (which I didn't notice before I entered it to this contest but now I see it  )/ camp/ industrial synthpop vibe that I love so much. Wasn't expecting to do this well tbh. I've actually kept on top of these stats and I'm updating my national thread, Bré would be proud. :o Great winner, it only just missed my votes and I was swapping it in and out of them. Also good to see Persephonia and Rolloland so high with a respectable placing for Séyetana.
  22. Will have votes in before midnight. x
  23. Pretend I never stopped doing this. And One // Military Fashion Show l9q_KrrdEB8 An industrial German (admittedly English lyrics on this one) synthpop banger for you all. Have fun with the bouncy synths and 'camp' feel. Known this one for a couple of years but never thought to send it, loved it on first listen though.
