Wow Jordan, that's a nice little stat! I'm a bit jealous actually because I've really wanted to see them live but they never tour outside the states. Yeah definitely check them out, if you're looking at albums I recommend either "MMHMM" or "Forget And Not Slow Down" to start off with if you only know a few. Maybe "Collapsible Lung" if you prefer more of a pop rock sound but the first two are my favourites. Although "Air For Free" is their new one (includes "Cat") and that's a pretty solid album too from what I've heard so far.

I've caught up, it's had some great moments and overall I've found it really enjoyable, some things were really drawn out though- episode 8 was a bit drawn out and I feel they could've wrapped up Nick's journey in a subplot while progressing some of the other character arcs rather than focussing on "Nick walking" for an entire episode.

Too many stupid things happen that artificially lead the characters into perilous situations. Getting drunk and loudly playing the piano; are Madison/Strand really still at the stage that they feel it's safe to let their guard down that easily? That bandit guy fumbling around for the bullets he dropped & subsequently getting eaten by a slow-moving herd of walkers... instead of legging it back to his vehicle which was only a few metres away? :drama:

 

Sometimes FTWD relies on cheap cliff hangers... like, we know full well that Madison & Strand were going to get out of that seemingly impossible situation, so there was really no need to tease that one for a whole episode. Then not even showing how they managed it. Tut!

Completely agree on those bandit guys, they could've literally backed up a few metres and drove off with the 3rd guy- the one that dropped the bullets could've quickly grabbed them and ran or just left them if necessary, not fumbled with the gun for 5 minutes before getting predictably eaten.

 

The part where Madison and Victor got drunk though made more sense. It was stupid but it can sort of be explained- they got depressed (naturally) and had a few drinks. That seriously impaired their judgement so Strand played the (seemingly detuned :o ) piano loudly because Tequilla. What surprised me most ("surprised", they weren't going to die) about that scene was how they were able to get out of their situation in that state. At least it did show how in the following episode, they just seemed a little too sober when the walkers showed up.

 

I'll predict a 'big' death by the end of this season though, FTWD isn't afraid to kill people off every now and again (Liza, Daniel), but we'll see.

Ugh I've got an iPad 4 and apparently that's not supported for iOS 10. Stop disowning all my devices Apple, first the iPod Classic now this. :angry:

This was impossible. I've exaggerated the differences between tracks a little for discrepancy but these albums are so amazing so I wasn't very successful with that. I know it's still them but for some reason I wasn't expecting their debut to match the heights Vessel reaches. It does. I know some of these songs really well, some of them are first impressions (mostly their earlier tracks) and a few album tracks on Vessel and Blurryface have only had a handful of listens so far but the way this obsession is growing I don't think that'll be the case for much longer.

I thought Utopia might have been close and a 12 would push the over the boundary. No regrets though, highlight of the semi for me, made a great discovery.

Slightly frustrating to DNQ yet again but oh well, I'd rather DNQ with something I like than Q with something I don't. That said I think I may be able to tick both boxes next month, don't want to speak too soon but I think it could be the Q. A little gutted because I thought this one might make it but I knew it'd be close.

Oops, that's a bit of a shock DNQ for 'Cross My Mind' - all but one prediction had it through I think. Desbuanda usually specialises in surprise qualifiers though so I can take this one. Shame though, I really thought it'd do a lot better. -_-
