Walking in the snow by Run The Jewels [Album: RTJ4] Remember when I added the album version of Fontaines DC’s “Boys In The Better Land” on my Top 50 Songs Of 2019 list despite the original recording coming out in 2018. Yeah! I’m cheating with my #10 pick again, since I prefer the album version of “Borderline” over the original single version. If I had to replace it with another track from The Slow Rush, I would go for “One More Hour”. And my number one song of 2020: #1. Living In America by Fontaines DC [Album: A Hero’s Death]
  3. Have kept you waiting for too long. First off, I had university work. Then, I wanted to listen to a few bonus tracks that RateYourMusic listed for albums I've listened to, but I kept putting that off. There was also me trying to keep up with the music of today. Now is the time that I put it up. Here's my Top 50 Songs Of 2020! The song must have been released in 2020These are mainly from albums I’ve listened to, but there may also be some from albums that I haven’t listened to, or some non-album singlesI’ll mainly focus on ‘one artist per song’ in order for this list to have more variety. A main artist can also go on this list with a featured credit as well.Songs already featured on my Top 10 UK Hits Of 2020 will not make it to this listThose released in 2020 recorded for a 2021 album will be highlighted with an asterisk (*)50-26 first #50. I See Your Ghost by The Lathums [Album: Ghosts EP] #49. Olympik by EOB [Album: Earth] #48. Please Complete Thee by King Krule [Album: Man Alive!] #47. 4. How I plan out my Playlists Of The Month (for those who are new to them): The 2018 monthly playlist had some re-entries from previous months, since I was trying to move away from the weekly chart format that I used to do. The Mostly Recent section usually has a Top 60 of this month ranked from most fave, but since I have listened to more recent songs this month (with a lot of great stuff), I have decided to expand it once again. Since 2019, my playlists have been consisting of songs that have been at least an 8/10 for me at the time. The Retro section is in a more random order. 6. I missed already? Oh no! I would have voted for (in order) For Those I Love by For Those I Love, When You See Yourself by Kings Of Leon and Great Spans Of Muddy Time by William Doyle. Honourable mention to The Horrors' Lout EP, which would have gotten my +2, but it's a short EP.

I am now the proud owner of a vinyl copy of Boards Of Canada's Geogaddi
  11. Denmark not making it :( Iceland, Finland, Greece, San Marino and Moldova made it. That makes me happy
  12. +3 Goat Girl - On All Fours +2 Shame - Drunk Tank Pink +1 Bicep - Isles
  13. My ranking from fave to least fave: Denmark Iceland Finland Poland Greece San Marino Moldova Estonia Albania Czech Republic Portugal Switzerland Serbia Latvia Austria Bulgaria Georgia My Top 7 are all 8/10's. Denmark came close to a 9 The next eight are 7's (ranging from decent to solid), though Austria is more of a 6.5. Bulgaria is okay, not fond of Georgia Finland... WOW! Latvia had the potential to be uniquely amazing but that 'eh-EH' sound throughout had me LOL-ing. It killed the mood for me in a funny way. Swiss guy looked like he was standing in front of an art museum exhibit Denmark coming through with that synthpop energy
  14. Did not expect Flo Rida to turn up Greece's entry feels like a music video Moldova at it with the Matrix ass dudes. YAY! Daði is back Portugal started off with black-and white scenery before transitioning to a yellow creature walking on the road. Edit: Still gutted that Portugal's previous entry Telemoveis didn't qualify for the final
  15. Rafal's outfit reminds me of that guy from the Persuadable Bouncer meme
  16. Gutted that Ireland, Australia and Croatia missed out (especially Ireland), but at least the other songs in my Top 10 of this semi-final made it
  17. LMAO that hand costume in the I Don’t Feel Hate video
  18. My ranking of the performances (from fave to least fave):IrelandIsraelAzerbaijanUkraineRussiaCyprusLithuaniaAustraliaMaltaCroatiaSwedenBelgiumRomaniaSloveniaNorth MacedoniaNorwayIreland and Israel are 9/10, the other eight are 8/10. Belgium would have been 8/10 if there was more oomf in the visuals, though I like the song itself. Romania had a good performance, but I'm not too keen on the live vocals. Slovenia is a light 7. NM and Norway are 6's.
  19. That Israel song is funky Azerbaijan... again... WOW! The flute drop in the Ukraine song reminds me of DJ Snake. Song sounds unique overall Malta's song is reminding me of Caro Emerald a fair bit with the old style piano in the verses.
  20. Thoughts on the first half: Lithuania is groovy. Russia song has pretty weird moments, but is a good one. Sweden sounds like a minor chart hit I would hear in 2010. Australia is a bop. Ireland performance... WOW! Surprised to see Hooverphonic perform. I've been aware of their name for many years, but only now decided to listen to bits and pieces of their work (after hearing they put out a new album). According to Zobbel.de, they nearly nabbed a charting entry in the UK with "Mad About You" (#104) in 2001. Don't know if anyone has told that fact already
