WAP is solid and 34+35 is alright. UFO grew on me a fair bit upon relistens (think it's okay now) and London is oddly amusing. Not a fan of Party Girl though. Exile is my favourite song from Folklore, so I'm glad to see it as the Mainstream Pick. The Declan album was great, even if I may not find myself returning to its songs as much as the ones off of WDYTATC

My faves of the first few categories Band Of The Year: IDLES Solo Artist Of The Year: Declan McKenna (or Alfie Templeman, since I haven't listened to Zeroes) Best Breakthrough: Working Men's Club Most Exciting New Act for 2021: Alfie Templeman (Arlo Parks sparks my interest too) Act That Needs To Make A Comeback Right Now Please: Of my faves, it would have to be Arctic Monkeys. But the comeback I would like to see is Oasis, even if it's unlikely. By the way, most of the selected acts already released their last albums between 2017 and 2018, so we should give them more time.

Them vocals remind me of FKA twigs a fair bit.This new Sufjan Stevens album may be very long, but Video Game serves as a good taste as to what I may get from it.I wasn't too won over by Cherry On Top when I first heard it in 2018, but My Baby Just Cares For Me has a lot of synth power to it, which I'm a sucker for.On the subject of synth power, Sam Smith's Diamonds has that too.A short out-of-this-world rap tune comes from Shygirl with demonic vocals in the chorus.Alex Rossi and Calypso Valis team up to put a psychedelic spin on the Matia Bazar song Solo tu.Dizzee Rascal samples UK garage classic Body Groove by Architechs, and offers a lot of charisma as usual.
