there was an audition process though - the two previous weeks were the auditions + who got through to the lives? they've said all along that this was being treated differently to the other shows, because celebs need a bit more tlc than civilians + most of them don't have the time to commit to all of the first rounds. it's why the set-up of the live show is different etc. (p.s max + harvey already have their own children's tv show)

blu was horrific this week - never funny, disgustingly lewd + out of drag, such a bitchy queen with not much to back it up. i agree about cheryl’s gemma being a little underwhelming, she tried a few of her catchphrases but it didn’t completely land. would have really loved to see viv’s cilla or kim woodburn because trump could have been done on any of the american seasons, it would have been nice to see someone existentially british. don’t know how the viv or baga managed to win with those final looks - they were both dreadful. divina blew them both off the runway.

this week really annoyed me. alice’s sugar glass cabinet was by far the worst of them all + they didn’t even touch on that? then they gave her star baker. i’ll be furious if she wins! :lol:

i’m sad it dnq’d cause it would have definitely been getting points from me in the final! i must admit that i’ve found a significant number of entrants are more interested in finding something weird or niche and that becomes their schtick, as opposed to finding a quality song that seems to match up with their general taste. the nature of the contest, i guess.

will is definitely not going to win - jonnie peacock was a much better dancer with a similar story + journey and he was never really a contender. if they're the worst dancer, they're out.. and will's going to find himself bottom 2 over the coming weeks because i don't think he'll have the public support to lift him.

i don’t even like megan but to say she shouldn’t be taking part in this because she’ll only ever be known for being on cbb is taking your dislike of the format a bit far :lol: so nobody should do anything after doing something memorable in their lives because they’ll never top it? she should just quit working or trying to better herself because, in your opinion, she’ll never change the perception of herself?

they’re hardly the most well-known celebrities though are they? :lol: and going into this i had no idea who v5 were but i really enjoyed their audition + will be rooting for them on the lives. i’d day the initial shows did their job.

loved watching that jade :wub: it was cute to see your full day + how buzzed you were about it all! (+ omg you look so much like your brother)

they had to do an audition process so that you can be introduced to the acts, hear their stories etc. we’ve had 2 weeks of getting to know these people now so you have a favourite to back etc.

i think, judging by the way they edited it, they said yes to jenny + when vinnie came back into the equation they had to cut someone.

crystal took my breath away on the runway + i don’t even like her! she’s had my favourite look so far this season. happy for divina though so it’s all good. definitely vinegar’s time to go. don’t really know how she managed to scrape to week 3 because she’s been weak asf. glad that michelle didn’t go easy on her because there was no way to justify her outfit.. it was just terrible. the judges may be favouring the vivienne but the editing is favouring cheryl. you can’t help but like her with the way they pieced her story together this week and her outfit really wasn’t that bad. i think we were left feeling a little cold about the vivienne. yes, she’s good but i think she thinks she’s better than she actually is. she really thought she was winning the challenge again this week.

definitely get the slumber party vibes from this. maybe they’ll add a rapper if it starts to pick up some traction?

i mean, this is a good 7/10 for the hula + jeweller line!

i really hope this is good because the rest of songs from the album don’t add anything to the originals - they all just sound like the dreadful cover versions you’d hear out shopping.

well, i love it! i don’t care if it does well + i don’t think they do at this point or they wouldn’t have put it out on wednesday. my only real criticism is that it gets a little bare where there should be a middle 8 so it, and i hate to say it, could have done with a rapper to really lift it. but the video is great - very katy! and the song is a grower for sure. leaps + bounds ahead of small talk.
