just watched the video (again) + think it’s hilarious that they spend 3:30 singing don’t call me angel, elizabeth banks walks in and what’s the first thing she calls them? angels.

i’m enjoying the song + the video. i love that it’s an eclectic mix of women because that’s who charlie’s angels are so it fits with that vibe. lana’s section on the song + her solo parts in the video are incredible but i think she looks really uncomfortable when she’s in the trio sections of the video. miley + ari are absolute powerhouses so they know how to play up to a pop video which means that, while lana’s delivery isn’t necessarily pedestrian, she just looks out of sorts.

the more i think about this, the more i think ken jeong is a bad decision. this won’t get a-list types taking part - how is he going to guess who the celebrities are? we’re going to get mary from corrie + ken is not going have the slightest clue who she is. it’s kind of the same with lindsay lohan in australia. it’ll be whatshisface from neighbours and she’ll have to act all surprised!

the judges said a few times that jamie’s bakes were tasty, they just lacked finesse. he looked like he knew what he was doing, he just didn’t have the same fire as the rest of them - if he couldn’t bake, they’d say so.

really happy with getting three 12's! :yahoo: semi 1 was definitely not my semi - i really, really struggled to give points out as a lot of it just wasn't to my taste, guess the feeling was mutual on the whole. there are some questionable entries that are passing as 'songs' but to each their own, on to the next contest!
