while rochelle is making waves on tv you can rule her out of anything saturdays related. she’ll never do it.
  2. it's not, it's a brand new residency. she's at the park mgm now + the show is 'britney: domination'.
  3. so here for kelly on 'never enough' but 'rewrite the stars' is about to get slaughtered + it's literally one of the best pop songs of the last year.. shame!
  4. you’re right, it’s not naive - i apologise! upon reflection whilst i can see it’s not pity, i think it’s more about critics being a little generous toward her, for whatever reason. i do hope that she’s taking care of herself, physically + mentally because she’s literally my fave pop star and i’d hate something to affect her wanting to do it. she makes it so easy to love her
  5. i love ariana so let's not get it twisted. i do, however, think she's being given too much credit. here's the thing; it's not a personal album. and it's not cohesive, quite the opposite. how can a beyonce demo be personal to ariana? there are three parts to the album mixed up to make it seem like there was an idea there. the sh!t songs were written by pharrell + have pharrell-by-numbers productions, the okay-to-good tracks were done by tommy brown+co and the great tracks are by max, savan + ilya. when pharrell was commissioned to produce on the album, he was already working with justin timberlake + on the NERD album and the label thought they were going to be massive/ he was going to be hot property. they flopped + probably couldn't get her to work with anyone else once the album was done and they just figured they'd push the (only) good tracks. (ntltc, giaw + breathin')
  6. some, not all.. it got almost universal acclaim. it's being realistic - they have been very easy on her because of what happened + it's naive to think otherwise.
  7. pity. i hands down refuse to believe that critics sat + listened to this and felt positively about it. if what happened hadn't happened this album would've been dragged.

itv have spent some serious $$$ on this! whoever has been in casting this year deserves a raise/job on strictly. i mean, the only way was up from last years line-up but this is honestly one of the best line-ups in a reality show ever. it speaks volumes that they've gone for loads of c-listers as opposed to trying to get an a-lister and then having to make-do with z-listers to make up the rest. who'd have thought that strictly would have a youtube 'star', capital dj & that guy from red dwarf + dancing on ice would have gemma collins, jane danson, saara aalto & FRENCHY from Grease etc.. insane.

that's because richard had a personality, knew that he was good & accepted praise when it was given and thanked them for it. rahul has obviously studied baking to be as good as he is so this whole "it's good? really? sorry.." persona is grating on me. it's obvious he's not an extrovert so i don't know if it's an act, or even if he's playing up to it even more than usual, but it's not hard to see why he has to buy friendship with cake. dullard.

i know this is really bad but i just want rahul to fail. not at life.. just maybe like at one or three bakes + be eliminated. his chandelier looked a mess but, of course, it tasted "amazing". ugh.

YAS i'm so excited for this. i absolutely love veronica mars.. so much so that i actually went to a CONVENTION to meet some of the stars. the kickstarter was a pretty big deal & the movie was awesome for how much they did it on.. this should be fab if hulu have thrown some money at it.

i know loads of people that have already jumped ahead - why would c4 make it all available?

100%. it’s a ‘he’s got no personality, let’s pity him, everyone loves an underdog’ edit.

i haven’t warmed to him.. oops. i find the whole apologising when you’re being praised disingenuous + irritating.
  15. ryan would have probably swung it regardless. the public love a “good lad”.. even if he’s devoid of personality. ugh. kirstie is the real winner, highest placing american female in the history of the show! i just love her.

  21. i get where she’s coming from cause it’s sometimes a bit of a slog. especially the post-chorus na-na-na’s..

this is the first year i won’t be watching. i have no interest in it at all :(
  23. the younger audience will watch it anyway, davina will bring in an older audience.
  24. loved it! it follows a very samey formula but it has enough wit + heart to make it stand out from the others. can’t wait for the sequel  brb just gonna write some letters x
  25. irrelevancy rock? she’s literally in the middle of 3 nights at the o2 arena.
