  1. Things just got interesting, on Kworb combined I'm pretty sure Bieber is down to around 0.5. So long as streams are all counted though I don't think anybody who's put money on Bieber needs to worry, I'd feel pretty sorry for everybody if they lost out because Chris Evans ended up getting involved.
  2. I really don't think it would be fair on Justin Bieber if he missed out on number one this week. I've never been a big fan of charity songs having the divine right to be number one and Love Yourself is such a good song as well. And that's coming from somebody who still doesn't like Bieber as a person. His musical output has just been outstanding this year. If there's no physical I think the choir will have to settle for number two anyway. Their general market aren't the kind to stream music so I wouldn't be surprised if it even failed to crack the Spotify top 50
  3. I'm really glad to hear, it really stood out to me last night and is the perfect goodbye song as they go off on their 18 month break, I find it so much better than Infinity and think it'll perform really well. Louisa really isn't outselling Bieber at the pace I thought she would, I think it's going to take her getting some big promo spots this week and next week, combined with some element of airplay to have a chance at the number one spot.

I went for between 1.25 million and 1.5 million for her six week YTD sales, 450K this week and more than 14 weeks at number one overall. I can see it constantly popping up at number one in the new year.
  5. Oops, that's very embarrassing. I guess my brain wouldn't split Save a Prayer with Living On a Prayer! I guess I was just in a rush to let people know the proceeds are going to some kind of charity. Anyway Id imagine the song will definitely chart in the top 40 on Friday. It's holding up okay despite the band obviously having a niche market.
  6. Bon Jovi and the band have both announced all proceeds from the song will go to "an appropriate charity" today.

I went very bold with my predictions. I picked it to sell just under 500 K, and for 6 to 10 album tracks to be in the top 75. Justin Bieber has a good few songs from Purpose in the top 75 and I can imagine Adele performing better because, well because she's Adele. I'm mainly curious about how long Adele will stay number one album for consecutively. I'd love to see a poll on that
  8. Honestly I find Sorry so much better than What Do You Mean and I think it completely deserves the number one spot. I guess it depends on the streaming gap. I don't want to rule out Hello retaining its spot as hype builds towards the release of 25 but things look good for Bieber.
  9. Does anybody think it's possible that Jess Glynne could beat both Adele and Justin Bieber to number one this week? I remember last year the much interior Wake Me Up by Gareth Malone's choir managed to reach number one with all the attention around Children In Need and it sold 100,000 copies.
  10. I think One Direction will top the chart with just over 100,000 sales, only scraping the 100K mark by a few thousand copies. Justin will be in second with around 70,000 sales, then Ed Sheeran with 45,000 copies sold. Im not sure where the others will chart but I can see Kyle selling between 10,000 and 12,000 copies and I think Ben will sell around 16,000
  11. I think Cee Lo Green is partially booked to perform because of this 'lifetime achievement' award he's receiving at the MOBOs tonight. I guess because he's being perceived as a big deal at the MOBOs the X Factor have decided to give him a shot as well. I thought Cee Lo's Lady Killer album was quite impressive but at the same time the comments he made on rape were pretty much reprehensible. Though saying that as far as I know he never did what he claimed was okay, but maybe I'm wrong on that.
  12. I'm confident Rhodes and Birdy will hover in or around the top 40, its pre-orders have been okay, they've got a bit of promotion lined up and their radio play is quite decent as well. It deserves a lot better but I think all things considering it'll do okay. It's quite a quiet week for new releases, I got excited when I seen a new P!nk song was released but if it's just a theme song for a television show I guess it won't do too spectacularly.
  13. If there's one thing I love about Buzzjack it's how different the various opinions on here are! -_- I'm getting worried now that Sigala might not be number one this week though. I can see his initial sales and pre-order numbers being enough to have them at the top of the chart on Monday before it then falls victim to Bieber's far superior streaming numbers, I expected Sigala to be number one by now...
  14. Sometimes I forget that officially Summer doesn't end on the first September :( I'm still sorry to see Cool For The Summer not achieving the success I assumed it would. With Air Play increasing for What Do You Mean and the VMA/video effect still staying strong Bieber is actually pulling even further ahead of his competition. I guess that's number one sewn up for this week if it wasn't already
  15. I'm not as seasoned when it comes to where a song charts in correlation with its pre-orders but for whatever reason I was convinced that Demi would definitely at least challenge for the number one spot so it's been disappointing that really she won't even get close to it. I almost wish it had been released a little earlier too, it just doesn't feel right that a song called 'Cool For The Summer' won't even be officially charting in the Summertime.
