It's so hard to listen to this without simultaneously also hearing the lyrics of Somebody That I Used to Know in your head 🤷🏽‍♂️

Pt. ii is a bop :cheeseblock: Why haven't the TikTok people made it a viral hit yet?!
  5. Happy For You is becoming such a fave from the album  It would almost certainly flop but wouldn't be opposed to it being a single. Falling Forever is...not it. Choosing that as the next single would surely be the nail in the coffin of this era. The album is a nice listen but I agree, it's probably best for her to move on quickly with another album next year. Whatcha Doing is probably the one which stands the best chance of making a splash as a single - it's so fun and trippy already sounds like a classic Dua song.

I love the fact that a 31 October election is a real possibility. The headlines will write themselves.
  7. Houdini actually still sounds as fresh now as it did on day 1. Manifesting a third wind next week x

This is definitely one of the best shows I've watched this year. I'm not surprised to see it blowing up and resonating with people the way it has done. It is so well made and very brave storytelling. I still can't quite get my head around the fact it's both a true story and the real person playing the lead role. Like Rooney says, the fact that you have sympathy for Martha and can understand the questionable decisions made by Donny, just shows how well crafted the show is and the complexity of the storytelling.

Voted - quite an eclectic mix of songs in semi 2...

Congrats and best of luck to the new team <3
  11. It's easily the weakest of the three singles for me and doesn't touch Houdini or even Training Season. At least she delivered a big music video though.
  12. Sadly it's giving Target deluxe edition bonus track based on that snippet. I may need to stick with Smashini for longer x
  13. They're both good but Houdini is just on another level for me - it's up there with her biggest hits from Future Nostalgia and still sounds so fresh.
  14. I enjoyed the album on first listen but not sure if I'll be revisiting it as a whole. I was apprehensive as I'm not the biggest fan of country or TEXAS HOLD 'EM for that matter but thankfully there's much better material on the album. The standouts for me are BODYGUARD, AMERICAN REQUIEM, JOLENE, DAUGHTER and LEVII'S JEANS. 16 CARRIAGES also remains the superior single so far.

I would second both Slow Horses and The Morning Show. Bad Sisters has been my favourite of the Apple Originals so far. I also really enjoyed Silo, Defending Jacob and The Afterparty.
  16. Give us the London Sessions album already
  17. Smashini second wind let's goooo
  18. The title definitely has me intrigued about the album. It's not what I was expecting based on the sound of Houdini or Training Season but here for it.
  19. Fully here for the Raye sweep last night  Particularly great to see her win the album of the year award
  20. It looks like, for whatever reason, the BBC hasn't bothered commissioning a Christmas episode since the return after COVID and have opted to stick with The Wheel as the preferred McIntyre Christmas show (not that they couldn't have both).
  21. Song of the year deserves that #1 spot
  22. This really has not disappointed - it's a smash!! The production is incredible and the second half of the song in particular is a triumph.
  23. Sounds like another bop on the way! I guess she didn't do a full 180 in sound though? Very excited to hear the full thing
  24. WordArt :cheeseblock:
