Oh dear...because Tier 4 and local lockdowns worked so well last time round

Looks like Cardiff will be the first place in the UK to complete its first dose rollout to adults on 30 May(!) Very impressive! Two months ahead of the UK target. @1394579908379168770
  4. ffs Billboard
  5. Christmas anthem turned song of the summer :cheeseblock:

Bolton NHS is saying that most recent hospital admissions in Bolton were unvaccinated people who were eligible for it. As long as everyone takes up their jab in the over 50 group (and hopefully that will be an encouragement in other areas with low uptake), we *should* be able to avoid another full lockdown but can certainly see the main unlocking in June being delayed by a weeks.
  7. Glad to hear a music video is actually in the works. Hopefully once Levitating has reached #1 in the US, her team will start to push this on streaming and radio.
  8. Itty Bitty Piggy finally on streaming :cheeseblock: I'm enjoying the new tracks too! The Young Money trinity back together again <3
  9. The absolute state of this. He's now retweeting every anti-racism tweet he's ever made in some weird bid to defend himself :') The Labour Party needs to distance itself ASAP @1392935497681588225
  10. I didn't expect her to be that far ahead at this point!! She's coming for her first US #1 and with her best song 😭😭😭

Someone has at least taken the sensible decision to begin 'surge vaccination' in Blackburn to all over 18s due to the outbreak of the Indian variant there. Hopefully the other areas with Indian variant outbreaks will follow suit. It sounds as though Andy Burnham is pushing for surge vaccine supplies for Bolton too.

The rise in unvaccinated adults showing that Wales' more risky approach of running down stocks and vaccinating all of the 18-49 age group at the same time looks to have been the right one. The rest of the UK currently sitting on a stockpile of nearly 12m doses including ~5m Pfizer which will predominantly be for first doses. Why the other nations aren't getting those into arms asap I don't know - the EU export ban threat no longer exists and the UK is currently receiving a steady flow of vaccine doses per week (more than it's administering at present).

Next milestone is to try and topple Bodyguard and Gavin & Stacey in the 28 day figures!

The amount of Audio Muted near the end was giving me serious flashbacks to when half of Kanye kept getting muted :') Dua winning Female & Album :cheeseblock: Griff stealing the show :cheeseblock:
  15. Exactly! Easy to forget that Levitating was already on a rebound from the Grammys before TikTok decided to get hold of it (even causing the leap to #1 in Canada). The same could happen again 🤷🏽
  16. You can do it Levitating!! 😭 Even without #1 status, I think this will end up overtaking Don't Start Now as her biggest BBH100 hit in the long run. It's unstoppable!!
  17. Fantasic work of the progressive alliance between Lib Dems & Greens in Oxfordshire  Textbook example of how you can damage the Tories by working together. All of Lib Dems, Greens and Labour taking seats that I don't think anyone would have expected them too in the crumbling 'Blue Wall'. @1391451009751396354
  18. If we're to believe journalists on Twitter, it sounds like he's about to demote all of the 'northern-sounding' front benchers to promote 'London-sounding' front benchers (apart from Jess Phillips). I'm not really sure how that one works to stop the narrative that the party is 'London-centric' Very much sounds like an even bigger plunge into 'Blue Labour' territory is coming :/
  19. Coming to peak in September :')
  20. The loss of West of England mayoralty is as big a news story as Tees Valley and West Mids results but the Tory media will ensure it gets less attention than those 🙄
  21. Rayner should be front and centre leading the charge against the Tories. What a stupid and bizarre move!
  22. It sounds like there's an imminent shadow cabinet reshuffle with Anneliese Dodds rumoured to be on the list for the chop. What's the betting that Lisa Nandy ends up as Shadow Chancellor
  23. @1390683578401443840 Blimey!! That's disastrous for Labour and much wider gap than the Survation poll suggested earlier in the week which had a massive Tory lead (63 / 37).
  24. GREEN SURGE :cheeseblock: Bearing in mind a lot of these early results are from 2016, how much of these Tory gains can we actually put down to them swallowing up the old UKIP vote more than a BJ or vaccine bounce? If you compare the smaller number of results to those last elected in 2017, the Tories seem flat or even down a bit (which is when they were riding high in the polls pre-GE 2017).

Tbf the priority should be maximum protection for the top 9 priority groups given they account for 99% of deaths. Vaccinating beyond that is a bonus and privilege, especially when so many countries around the world cannot even vaccinate their priority groups.
