so if people want to watch a video it is even more 'consumption' than audio only. Why does not video count towards the charts? Chart does not mean specifically audio If someone watches video he consumes music more as video requires more attention than plain listening to the radio or stream

Still dont understand how Spotify counts towards the charts somehow Youtube not. Both are easy to measure and are music 'consumption'

i think people's votes for songs shoul be included in the charts exactly as sales and streams And I mean positive and negative vote Negative vote should eradicate one sale or/and 150 streams and this way we can come back to balance. If you don't like Ed/Drake give him a 'minus' vote and this way we can reach normality very soon again

Bigger issue is youtube displays are not included and it should be playing video is way more than streaming as it requires much more attention and dedication to find the song. Streams are somehow included but not youtube videos. I guess streaming companies bribed OCC to include their streaming into chart as way more people will hear about streaming sites than before - just kind of product placement and advertisement

Strange policy. I thought artist goes 'full steam' if releases the single to get maximum audience. If I was a music industry manager everything had to be ready before day one. By the day they release video chart career might be gone. And video will not help at all. Going 'full steam' increases chart success chance I reckon
