Dont see nay difference between stream and youtube display. Youtube display should count even more as this is a video not only the sound

This is suicidal tactic. Less popularity, even for free => less downloads and streams Song spread wherever possible = more downloads, streams, concert tickets revenue, sales etc

Up to them if they do it for free. As a licence fee payer I can not be happy for BBC paying for privilege of displaying commercials like chart videos are It is OCC or record companies should pay BBC to presenting their artists as they gain the audience thanks to chart shows

OCC should never be associated with the BBC as this is purely commercial activity

So who decided about streams being included to the charts? Did streaming companies give money to OCC under the table or artists like Drake/Rihanna etc paid them for including it? I would remove streams and add votes to song popularity instead of sales. People could send emails or have a song lisstings on a website and can vote for songs Remember Reshuffle on this website works really well pushing likable songs and eliminates thrash pushed and pumped by music industry pretty quick. Last weeks can be reshuffled with last three songs being permanently eliminated from the charts would do a brilliant work IMO

Songs are no way similar. Gaye family everyday searching youtube and trying to find some 'alimony' It is like accusing random man on the street of paternity. If they have 'tool' why not py them I wonder how on earth did they get sentence - judges or jury were 100% black? Only in these circumstances. BTW taking a melody should be not penalised few months after song leaves chart. Plagiator contribute towards greter exposition of original artist and help him to sell more. Why should they pay for this. It is rather cover artists should be payed for increasing popularity of the 'original' at least after original hit has been forgotten
